So. First of all, what exactly do you even do for a wedding? I know Demyx is too much of a slacker for it, and I'm, jeez, I'm just eighteen.

Almost eighteen. In a few days. Listen, now we're just being picky, but the point is, weddings, how do they even work?

Secondly- oh jeez Arden, c'mon-

[To those who've seen Lea around, they might have noticed a little fox like creature follow him around. What crawls onto his lap doesn't look anything like that. The fluff, the tan and brown, all of that... Not there. What is in his lap and peering into the screen is something else entirely. It's this little guy instead.]

[And then it makes a trademark Chocobo 'waaaaark'.]

So, uh, I think Arden... evolved, that's the word, right? Eevee can turn into seven different forms, aaaand... Espeon. [He snas his fingers.] There we go. I don't suppose anyone can tell me more about this little guy?

[Another wark. Despite looking like a cat, or a fox, Arden certainly seems more prone to making bird noises than anything.]

Also, uh-

[A chirp, but offscreen this time, and a small little ball of feathery fluff flops onto Arden's head. It's yellow, like any chocobo chick, but something seems to... glow about it. Lea flushes.]

The egg hatched. The, uh, chocobo egg that Stein left behind ages ago.

Karkat, I've never even been to a wedding before! Cut me some slack. The only weddings I've seen have been in, like, movies and stuff.

Would you base, I dunno, fights and stuff based on what you've seen on tv?

Fights are something different than romance!

That said, as I have learned over the passing of the year and months I've been here, movies aren't always true to life on that subject either. But that doesn't mean they can't teach you anything. Movies are what taught me the bulk and basis of my romantic knowledge, and they are at the least a good source of ideas.

Well, there is romantic fighting, and fights spurred by romance, but that's a different issue.

[Did he seriously just ask him that? His face lights up in surprise, and soon ideas are running through his head in a chaotic jumble. He shakes it to clear it enough for an answer.]

One, I'm a troll. Two, I've only ever speculated on that kind of stuff, things like motifs for the decorations and so on, or vows, or...

Not stuff that would really help you. I can't tell you how to do a wedding with my own ideas. It wouldn't have anything from either of you in it, and beyond that, the mechanics of setting it up and organizing it all are still beyond the level of what I know. I've only been learning about this since last year.
