So many people seem to have gone home. I wonder if the Coral senses the intentions of The Head Nurse and wishes to save those it's housed over the years. Whether that's the case or not, I truly do wonder if things will come to a head like it seems. Things have been boiling to the surface quite quickly as of late, but I suppose that's to be expected, given the recent turn of events.

[A small, quiet pause as he thinks out what to say.]

How do you all feel about this? After all, many are being sent homes, whether to a good life or a bad life- and it's entirely possible some may remain here. Which would you choose?

I don't know why that one cartoon mermaid wanted legs when she lived in the ocean, but I could certainly use some now. This is beyond inconvenient and I'm not even sure how I'm going to go to the bathroom much less leave the apartment.

If we were going to be changed into different species, I don't see why demon wasn't an option.

[Shortly after a face appears in front of the screen... and it appears to be very much bird-like. Another peck before the large bird scoots away, wings spread and tail fanned out awkwardly as he tries his best not to accidentally step on it.]

Well, at least this time around I can actually talk.

[Being a cheetah had been cool for a while, sure, but there's something about this change which excites Axel even more. Puffing up his feathers, he seems to grin at the communicator before he struts and turns a bit to try and get a better look at his tail feathers. Ooh.]

A bit flashy... but I think I can get behind this just fine. I--

[Suddenly as he opens his beak a jet of hot fire leaves his mouth. Startled, Axel scrambles back, falling over so ungracefully onto his back.]

I think the worst part of this is forgetting.

[In the background part of the lab can be see and there’s some human size glass tube, with various smaller metal tubes on the sides and a switch board. Crocker goes to tighten a few bolts on this machine with a wrench.]

At least I have my fairy draining device completed. And I can’t let those scientists beat me before I capture her.

[Rin’s SFC turns on to a view of somewhere in the Villa, near-ish the living room. There’s some scuffling happening off screen, as he’s trying to get Yukio in front of it. It sounds like the younger twin is doing his dead-level best to prevent that from happening, but as the brief flashes of flailing elbows grow longer and slide of socked feet against the floor grows louder, it becomes apparent that Yukio’s is a losing battle.]

Niisan! Let me go!

[A losing battle, indeed. Rin is just too strong for his younger very much human brother, and soon enough both of them are in front of the SFC, panting and a little frazzled. Rin lets out a huff and forces the mess that is his bangs back out of his face, all with a terribly mischievous grin.]

HEY! I know we’re all doom and gloom right now for… reasons, but seriously you guys gotta check this out!

[Whatever Rin is doing, it’s clear it involves throwing Yukio under the proverbial bus. He turns his younger brother around forcefully, showing that Yukio has… gained a tail. Exactly like Rin’s. It’s presently lashing to and fro in an obviously agitated manner, mirroring the protests of its owner. Yukio lunges to one side, still determined to escape his brother’s grip.]

It’s not funny!

[You’re not going anywhere. Rin’s grip is way too tight.]

[Yukio growls under his breath, and the careful observer might be able to pinpoint the exact moment that he decides he is 1000% done. Rin receives no warning before his little brother lashes out, bending one long leg with every intention of planting a knee in his midsection. An attempted headbutt follows immediately after.

Rin might be stronger, but Yukio still has just a little more reach and (currently) absolutely no sense of humor. Thank Night for this one, bro.]

[The noise Rin makes isn’t even remotely dignified. Yukio’s strikes hit as they’re intended to, and the half-demon goes down like a sack of bricks, collapsing off screen.

He groans loudly, lifting a hand shakily.]

[Yukio wrenches himself out of Rin’s grip before the other boy can take him down with him, stumbling for a moment and reaching up to cup his forehead with one hand. As hard as the hit was (because let’s be honest, Rin defines the word “blockhead”) he’s sure to have a nasty welt there pretty soon, but he shakes off his own discomfort pretty quickly in favor of attending to more important matters. Like the camera that’s still recording.]

… Idiot.

[Two long strides close the distance between Yukio and the camera, and then the feed goes black. Sorry, folks, show’s over.]

Ha- so uh, not even one that can really fly-

At least the big tail's an option, open or shut, I uh, I guess. [It's- a peacock. A rather flashy looking one as well. When the bird moves a little away from the SFC- seemingly it's outside, from the looks of it- this particular male specimen has an extremely long and brightly coloured tail, a bit on the ridiculous size, even for a peacock.]

It just- trailing like this is kinda uh- [Walking about, pat pat pat, looking back at it's own tail that just drags right now, it being shut for the time being.] Annoying...- keeping it open probably would be-

more annoying though- ugh. I liked- that dog form better I think...

All three Sanzu lines in his black hair remain connected, forming a trio of parallel white stripes around his head, but Death the Kid is otherwise no different than he usually is.
