[Ky's sitting formally at the desk in his apartment, his back straight and the cup of tea he had been sipping on set aside for the moment. This is a far less formal matter than things he's spoken of before, in many ways. He's trying to get other people's opinions for the simple reason that he's curious, and nothing more.]

Is there any one person you would say has made you who you are? Whose opinion you automatically trust, or trusted, more?

[Ky's had a lot more time to think about questions like this since he's been in Vatheon, and certainly he thinks he's learned a lot from questions that other people have asked, even if they don't have immediate or direct consequences. And Zelda's recitation of what the scientist had said, about them having to be heroes, had struck home. How did people learn to be heroes, after all?]

If so, why them? Did it just happen, or did they do something to make you trust them?

And if not, how did you work things out on your own?

Even though there's very few that one in my line of work can trust, I would have to say my lord definitely. There's probably not much that could cause me to distrust him.

[There are just a few she does trust to an extent besides Yukimura, like Kai and Ma Dai. Though among them all, he's the one she definitely trusts most, considering the length of time she's worked for him.]

As for why, he's kind and caring, even if he can be a bit stubborn in some aspects.

Besides, if I can't trust the one that I'm supposed to protect, then how could they trust me to actually do so?

Something like that. And I have to say that I'm grateful that I can continue to do so even while being stuck here.

Though I suppose you can't really call ninja "soldiers", can you? Considering we're mostly used for spying, infiltration and the such.

I suppose it would depend some on what your cause was and the means... In general, no, I don't think the term would apply.
