video; [slightly forward-dated]
[There seems to be a pink-haired woman on the screen today, publicly broadcasting for the first time. This probably would've been better as just a voice feed, but she looks calm and composed enough-- partially because maybe it hasn't really hit her yet, and partially because she knows she needs to be.
...Though this doesn't mean words won't get caught in her throat regardless.]
For...those of you familiar with him, it seems Serph is no longer in the city.
[She swallows. The harest part is out of the way-- now she just has to elaborate.]
I was unable locate him or find his name on the contact list; and I'm aware that he was once a part of the team leading the Defense Force, so-- [there's a pause for breath--] If there are any concerns regarding that, they'll have to be redirected for the time being.
[And another pause.
She doesn't know why it's taking so much effort all of a sudden to just breathe, but she also knows she doesn't have too much else to say. So she ends things here.]
...Thank you.
[click!]
[Embryon filter, including everyone who's joined in Vatheon. And Tiir.]
[...After recovering briefly from that, Argilla manages to set a filter for only members of the Embryon. This is the first time she's done it, but she hopes she's done it successfully, because there is something else that she hasn't mentioned.]
Gale was also unresponsive this morning when I went to ask him about Serph.
It's been hours, but nothing seems to have changed-- and it isn't like him to sleep for so long into the day. Has this happened before?
[The others have been here longer than she has-- she figures there's no harm in asking before proceeding further. Maybe Gale enjoys sleeping in more than she thought.]
(( OOC: Serph is gone for three weeks, Gale is in a coma, and it is a bad day to be an Embryon member, folks. For the Embryon, feel free to tag in action if you want and assume they've realized the same thing about these two. ALSO this is forward-dated to this afternoon i guess, I am impatient. ))

She is also in Gale's room, with Sera. And once the silence becomes too much to bear, she places a hand on her shoulder, trying to think of something. Anything to say.]
Sera...
no subject
I don't understand what happened...
no subject
I'm still trying... [Trying to understand it herself--] There's so much that we don't know.
[Argilla stares back at Gale's seemingly lifeless body, and decides to brush aside some of his hair...
He looks so peaceful. She can't stand it... why?
And why Serph?]
no subject
Argilla, I-
[No, it's a stupid idea. It won't work.]
no subject
[Stupid idea or not, Sera won't get away with cutting herself there. And Argilla doesn't feel particularly patient at the moment-- so it doesn't take her long to prod her, however gently.
She turns her attention away from Gale.]
What is it?
no subject
[Which sounds pretty simplistic and possibly ridiculous.]
no subject
They do say the coral is a God. And if anyone knows how to talk to God, it's Sera. But it's true... Argilla doesn't look too hopeful about it.]
I'm...not sure.
[She won't shoot her down immediately, though.]
I don't know that anyone's tried before.
no subject
There must be some way to help.
[Why is she so useless? Sera lays on top of Gale's chest as if her embrace might shake him conscious, another wave of tears quietly rolling down her face.]
no subject
She doesn't need to be alone now.]
I've been told that he'll awaken on his own, though. ['It may take days, or weeks...'] We may simply have to wait.
[...And for Serph, too.
That... that's even harder for her to accept. It kills her, not knowing if he'll even return, and it shows on her face. It kills her to wait...
But they may have to.]
