In fact, one might even call him regal, given the way he's dressed, in addition to his perfect posture and attention to diction. ]
Like some of you, I arrived only today. However, I have been informed by a reliable source that this is not my first time here. Unfortunately, I cannot recall any of it.

For the moment, I have a question to put to you: are lapses in memory such as mine a common occurrence? If so, has it happened to you?

[ As he leans forward to turn off the SFC, the camera catches his cordial smile dropping into a flat, unamused line. A moment later, the feed is cut. ]

Hello, Earl Phantomhive. [Have Sebastian told him about her? Hm.] I am Amane Kuzuryu. As for your question, such an occurrence have not happened to me, yet. I would assume that this is my first time in Vatheon, as the residents here don't recognise me.

That is a safe assumption. The only reason I believe that I was here at all previously is because others have recognized me.
[ And because Sebastian told him so, and Sebastian never lies. So there's that. ]

That would confusing for new arrivals. [Obviously.] The cause for the lack of memories either relate to the time period you may come from, or some other causes.

[ He has, fortunately--he simply wasn't very forthcoming with the information. But as Ciel does know, he sees no point in bandying about smalltalk. He would much rather cut to the chase. ]

[ He says this outright. ]

[ Ciel settles on that decision immediately. ]
