You know, I think everyone could use a pick-me-up.

[Axel appears on camera, seated in a chair which is leaned far back for some nice lounging. He could just use a couch for this, or a recliner, but, no, he likes using this chair. It'll do just fine.]

So, who's up for Two Truths and a Lie?

"Two Truths and a Lie...?" [ Gracia tilts her head to the side. ]

What a strange-sounding game! Who can play it? The liars or people who tell the truth? How confusing.

[ Sorry, she's taking that a little too seriously ;;. ]

[Axel snickers.]

Well, it wouldn't be called Two Truths and a Lie if only honest people could play it.

Basically, people take turns telling each other three facts about themselves, but one of them has to be a lie. The other people are supposed to guess which one out of the three is the lie and whoever guesses it correctly first wins. Makes sense?

[ She hums in understanding. ]

It makes sense, yes!

But why play such a game? Why not tell them about yourself, instead of making them guess which one is a lie? [ Another headtilt. ]

Because it's a good icebreaker between strangers. It'd be boring to do things the normal way.

I see! Well then, if that's the case, may I play with you? I'll make it really hard for you!

[ Gracia isn't too sure what an "icebreaker" is, but she loves games so she's assuming they're related. LET'S DO THIS /gameface ]

Well, well. Always nice to have someone so enthusiastic. Go on, then. You go first.

[Grin]

[ She pauses, trying to come up with something good. After a few minutes, Gracia perks up and starts reciting three things; ]

Alright, let's see...

I'm from the future! [ Lie. ] I have three pets! And I enjoy eating my Father's omelettes!

[ SOME HARDCORE STUFF WE GOT GOING ON HERE ]

So, which is the lie? Tell me!

[Pft. Cute. Axel thinks for a bit as he goes over her statements before he finally replies.]

The last one.

[ She shakes her head as her smile grows wider. Yey, she won! ]

The last one is true; Father is an amazing cook! His ormilettes are my favorite, among others! [ Yes, she mispronounced it. Yes, she may do this often. Derp. ]

Do you get to guess again, or shall I tell you the lie?

I get to guess one more time. If I get that wrong, then I lose.

[Now let's see...]

I'll go with... You being from the future.

[ She makes a rather weird sound, but it's obvious she's disappointed with his answer. ]

Ooh, no fair! How did you know? I was so close to beating you!

[He smirks.]

Just a lucky guess. ... Plus, having three pets sounded a little too normal.

[ She pouts. ]

So now that you've won, what do we do next? Do you get a prize from me? Ooh, what horrible luck! I've nothing to offer to you! Maybe my toy duck, or...?

[ Watch her ponder on this for the next five seconds. Life is so hard. ]

[He laughs then and shakes his head.]

Just because I win one round doesn't mean the game is over, you know.

[ Well! That livens her up again! Gracia grips her hands together and looks mighty determined. ]

Oh, that's wonderful! This time, you won't win! Go on, do your best. I'll be able to tell which one is the lie among the truths, wait and see!

[We like your attitude.]

We'll see about that. Hmm...

I once flew thanks to a little help from a fairy. The moon in my World is heart shaped. I'm terrified of spiders.

[ Okay those all sound super ridiculous, but also super duper fun. So she starts thinking, and she thinks hard. The first one doesn't seem so impossible, mostly because she remembers what kind of shenanigans the city can come up with, and the fairies giving people the power to fly is something she can imagine. It may or may not be the same circumstance for this guy, but hey! Gracia decides to ignore that little loophole in her logic and strikes the first one out.

The second one...sounds pretty legitimate, but also fishy. A heart-shaped moon? Was it too fantastical? It definitely sounds like something that came out of a storybook...

And as for the third one -

- Gracia blinked at him. Did he look like he was terrified of spiders? It could go either way, really. Was she allowed a question before she made a guess?

No! Okay, she knows her answer. After a few minutes of careful deliberation, Gracia perks up and speaks with determination. ]

You're lying about the second one!

[Wow. She is thinking hard, huh. Axel waits for her response and when she finally comes out with it he brings a finger up to wag at the screen.]

Nope. Try again.

[ She looks incredibly frustrated! Gracia was certain she was close to getting the answer right the first time! She makes a silly face, scrunched up in concentration. Gracia paces as well. This is one serious game. ]

...Huwah, but certainly you aren't afraid of spiders! You can't be!

[ Gracia takes one long look at him, blinking twice or thrice in succession. ]

Or are you? I have been taught that looks can be deceiving!

[ She's cooking in her own broth right now, but she can't drag this on forever. Gracia makes a sound of frustration and points heatedly at the SFC, expression turning heated. ]

The lie is that you are scared of spiders!

[Axel laughs as she thinks more and more. She's really getting into this, isn't she?

And once she answers he snaps his fingers.]

Bingo. Not afraid of anything.

[ She's immediately ecstatic at getting it right! Gracia jumps up once and claps her hands, proud that she was able to win the game. ]

Oh, I knew it! I just knew it! You didn't really look like you were frightened of spiders! And having the ability to fly thanks to a fairy's help seems like a very believable thing, thanks to my experiences in Vatheon.

[ She extends her pointer finger at him.

What's my prize for winning the game? Please tell me!

[He's totally not afraid of anything. Well. Maybe one thing. Or two. But she doesn't have to know about that.]

That depends. What do you want?

[ She tilts her head in thought. After a few seconds of thinking, Gracia perks up. ]

How about we become friends! That's never a bad thing!

[ She smiles widely. ]

[Abuh--]

Uh... sure. That works.

[ Very straightforward, she is. Still beaming. It's in good nature, though. She seems to genuinely want to be his friend. ]

Fantastic! What's your name, then? [ A beat. Then, she laughs jokingly. ] Or must we play another round for that, too?
