What are some things you can do by candlelight that are sort of- you know, romantic? Singing seems kind of silly...

[He pauses to sniff the candle, looking a little surprised. Yes, he just realized now that they're scented.]

I'll echo what some people have said; dinner is usually a good start.

It seems like that's practically the only thing.

It's just one of the more common ones. There's also dancing if that's your thing, and some people even get a bit... intimate with each other.

I take it you're planning something special for that friend of yours?

You'll have to tell me how everything goes. If you're planning to go the dinner route, I think some of the local restaurants may be able to help something up but I'm afraid I don't have any recommendations as to which ones are suited for a date.
