[The scene opens on a dark, open field. The headlights of a hastily parked van are the only light source. A man with long blond hair and lying flat on the ground just behind the van. Three figures emerge from the van with flashlights. Jane, the lighter haired woman, calls for a first aid kit as she hurries to the man's side.]


Do me a favor and don't be dead.

[The man on the ground looks up, conscious again.]

Woah. Does he need CPR? Because I totally know CPR.

Where did he come from?

[Grunting and staggering, the man stands up.]

Are you okay?

[The man starts calling out "hammer!" over and over.]

Yeah, we can tell you're hammered. Pretty obvious.

[Jane and Dr. Selvig begin examining a strange marking on the ground beneath their feet while the man continues to stagger around and shout at the sky. Eventually he turns to Jane and Dr. Selvig.]

You! What realm is this? [He lists a series of strange names, drawing closer.

Behind him Darcy raises a taser and aims it at him.]

New Mexico.

You dare threaten me, Thor, with so puny a wea-

[She takes her shot, promptly knocking the man to the ground again. Jane and Dr. Selvig look at Darcy with disbelief.]

What!? He was freaking me out!
