*First thing on the screen is a black and white cat, whose fur resembles a tuxedo. On his head is what would be a daisy chain, only it's made of pink carnations instead. The cat sniffs at the screen, bumping it with his nose, then reaches even closer to give it a lick with his tongue. There's a giggling, that certainly isn't the cat! Selphie's face appears close to the screen, next to the cat, wearing her own crown of pink flowers*

*Selphie scoops the cat up in her arms, and he looks more than happy to have the attention*

Moses and I just wanted to tell you that your local flower shop is back in business! The seeds and seedlings needed lots of care after the flooding but... they've beaten the odds! Aya, the owner, is still in his coma... I think... but I'll be more than happy to help as best I can!~

*When she moves back from her SFC, Selphie reveals a table full of cupcake decorated with little flowers on*

Absolutely! Though..his paws do get in the way of flower arranging...

Does he try to eat them...?

I've seen that behavior in animals sometimes.

Hmm... Only some kinds! He's pretty clever, so he knows that they won't taste too good - doesn't stop him giving them a like though!

*It's actually a genuine question, while he seems to be in the mood for some sort of conversation*

I don't have much personal experience with pets, but I quite like flower patters on teacups.

*Excuse the giggle Ky, you're just very cute. Okay, and the giggle turns into soft laughter at that final statement*

[He looks a little perturbed at the giggle, but he waits it out.]

*Selphie clears her throat and does her best to look more serious*

Nope! Nothing strange at all. It was a perfect answer, I think!

Uhm...I think I prefer cats, cause I can give them more cuddles! But a cat with flowers is cute, right?

*And she tilts the SFC so show Moses cleaning his paws, still wearing the crown of pink flowers*

Could you not cuddle a flower?

They seem less likely to scratch you than a cat.

[Most of Ky's experience with animals comes from stray ones on a battlefield, which aren't always inclined towards friendliness.]

*For demonstration, she plucks a flower from her crown and hugs it to herself, squishing it against her chest. Then she holds it in front of the SFC - it's limp, and losing its petals*

[Sorry Selphie, Ky's kind of trying here, but he's still painfully awkward, with no real idea of how to interact socially.]

*Don't worry, Ky, Selphie's more than happy to humour you, and to teach you the ways of hugging*

*She scoops Moses up in her arms, and cuddles the cat comfortably close. In return, the cat mews and licks at her nose. Selphie closes her eyes, giggling as she snuggles closer to the cat*

See, Ky? Cuddling cats is much better!

[Ky's been hissed at by cats just for trying to direct them out of alleys and battlefields.]

Because we're friends! Would you scratch me if I hugged you?

*She smiles, and Moses presses a paw against the screen*

[...What?]

No, of course not, but..ah...

I don't think we'll be hugging anyway.

*She puts on a pretend pout, and even Moses tilts his head*

I'm not in the habit of hugging people.

*Selphie giggles a little at that, dropping Moses back onto the floor*

Well maybe you don't, but I do!

Then I suppose it's good that you're the one with the cat.

Well, if you ever need some hugging practise, I'm sure Moses will be willing to help you out with that too!~
