Shiro holds the kitten very gently, holding it up by the stomach and supporting its back with his other hand. He looks it over, and he frowns as he notices the shivering.]

Go grab me the blanket that's on the couch.

[Even though it's a small lap blanket, it will be huge when he wraps up the kitten in it.]

[Izumo nods, and gets the blanket, still shivering all the while.

Once she has it, she hurries back to him]

[He's wrapping the kitten in the blanket loosely, leaving its face exposed and giving it plenty of room to squirm out after it's warmed up. He is surprisingly good at this, as if he's wrapped up small children and animals in a similar manner many times before.]

[Now he turns to Izumo.]

I think you holding her is what made her cold. For some reason, everyone's been getting cold lately. It's probably another curse, so I would hold off on cuddling her until it goes away.

[But for now, he'll hand Izumo back her bundled up kitten.]

Put her in a warm place, preferably somewhere where sunlight can fall on her. She'll warm up in no time.
