[Say hello to your resident half demon chef, Vatheon. Looks like he's feeling better finally, though fumbling with putting his SFC down so it won't topple over, which it does once.

At least he's not falling on his head again...]

[He gets the SFC positioned and takes a seat in front of it, giving a wave.]

Hey. Hi. So uhm... yeah. I left, and came back a little while ago and... I couldn't remember a lot? I remember now! It was just temporary because...

[Because an adorable little demon was trying to make everyone happy by making them forget the bad things. Oops.]

Anyway... I remember now. So uh... sorry if I didn't recognize people for a while there. Aaaand if anyone is still interested in the classes I was giving, I'm still up for that. Just lemmie know and I'll try to get somethin' started for next week, and pick up where we left off last time.

Nope. I met a demon who could manipulate memories. I didn't realize it right off, though.

Yeah. All my memories got- covered up with new ones. Only, someone made her do it, so she's actually the one who helped me start remembering stuff.

Huh. Mine weren't covered up or anythin'. Usamaro was just tryin' to make people happy by havin' them forget bad things... I didn't really get to tell him that bad memories were just as important as good ones, though.

Yeah. They're all part of who you are.

He was young. I don't think he understood that. He just wanted people to be happy.

I think- a lot of people don't understand that. I've heard people say, they wish they could forget stuff. I don't want to forget anything.

People don't like dealing with pain, especially pain that lasts. But they usually realize when they're older... or... not that much older... that everythin' defines them. Pain, joy, all of it.

Really, you become stronger for it. When you're young, though, you just want the pain to stop no matter what. That and... watching others in pain, it's difficult, too.
