I don't think it's really like that...he's just overprotective of people he cares about, like me and Gamzee and Darkleer. Even if Darkleer doesn't really need it. And you do tease a lot and he's nefur sure what to do with teasing, it confuses him. Once he gets more used to you he'll be fine.
