[Dream] Let her fight on
[The scene is a cave, the typical dark but not really damp sort. Further down, one could see five figures standing together and it was obvious due to the bright colors each teenager was wearing. But it seemed like everyone was focused on the one in red, the leader of the group.]
I can't do this anymore.
[This was apparently the wrong thing to say because the others in the group started to sound angry.]
You giving up?
[This was spoken by a boy in green, taller than the red clad boy and held a look of confusion. Was he saying what everyone was thinking he was saying? Give up? Lose against the Master and pretty much the entire Underworld?]
You have to be joking!
What's the point? We're losing right now! What choice do we have?! Wake up and smell the darkness! It's over!
[The others just looked at him, stunned. That is until a familiar voice broke the silence...and boy did she sound pissed.]
Don't you say that.
[The others turn to see the girl in blue, standing furthest away from the group speak up. She walks up to the boy in red, face showing how she felt inside: fury for the mere thought of giving up.]
Don't you say that.
[Now she stands toe-to-toe with him and she starts letting it out.]
How DARE you just stand there and say that we should just lie down and let them do what they will! That's not the way we do things, no matter how tough they get! You do not have the right to do such a thing from the moment you said you believed in magic, we all did and none of us are willing to give in to the Master! Daggeron and your dad died for that belief and I for one will not let that be in vein!
[The cave was quiet again except for Madison's echo. Did Vida's quiet sister just...bitch out their leader? The answer is yes, Maddie is bitching him out so hard right now including finger poking his chest and more angry shouts. If anyone couldn't believe that she could be angry well...this says otherwise. She stops when an unknown force knocks them all down, sending them to the back of the cave and piling on each other. The force that did it was unseen, just covered in shadows. It only took a moment for Madison to look over by her and see two items: Nick's MagiStaff turned sword and one of their Legendary Warrior staves.
Without any thought, she took them both, stood up and looked at the swelling darkness in front of them.]
I won't let you come any closer.
Maddie! What are you doing?! Only the Light can fight back right now!
[Her face twists more and she raises the weapons up.]
We don't need the Light for this...I'll do it on my own!
[Then, she races straight towards the darkness, raising the sword and giving out a yell, the sword connecting and making a bright flash...
in which wakes up the ranger from her sleep.]
What the-?
[She picks up the Dreamberry, wondering if it turned on during this. If other dreams were being broadcast, then there was a chance that her's was as well.]
...did anyone see that?
(OOC: For those curious, this is a what-if dream. If Nick didn't fight back like in canon but instead Madison took the role. Also, respective colors are rangers: Nick, Maddie, Chip, Vida, Xander.)
