What people call magic is nothing more than a hoax created by sleight of hand and misdirection, Or else they are simply saying that because they do not know the true reasoning behind it. It's sloppy and inaccurate thinking. Claiming that a thing is caused by magic is worse than no explanation at all.

By work, I mean how does it operate.

I'm quite certain that I know what is magic, at least enough to say that it does exist. As far as the bubble goes, no, I haven't had the opportunity nor do I have the magical theory knowledge to study it in detail, but magic most certainly does exist.
