Dualscar really was about to leave, but her action, pushing him away, only enraged him as well. His anger wasn't primal and animalistic, but it made him just as stupid.

He bares his teeth at her, his hands clenching and fins flaring with challenge.

But before he can draw a weapon or decide what the changes coming over her features might mean, someone interposed themselves between them. He snarls again, but recognizes the horns a moment later, and reels back. Especially when he realizes that Kanaya is facing Disciple, and she's left her unprotected back facing him.
