[semi-accidental video]
[Not even a day has passed and you can already expect Azimuth to be on his feet, continuing life as normal. Except something about him still seems off, and in the process of preparing breakfast, the old Lombax could be seen stopping from time to time, murmuring to himself, or pausing to lean on the counter. His movements are stiff and hesitant, though he manages enough sense of mind to nearly complete an entire bowl of cereal.
Milk poured, an unsteady hand sets the gallon aside, opting to put it back in the fridge later. This is followed by another hesitant pause, and the Elder stares strangely down at the Lucky Charms filled to the rim.
He raises the spoon.
But his head is first to splash into the bowl, nearly knocking it over.
No, Alister, that's not how you eat.]
[ooc: aaaand wrap-up post. Alister's staying at the Villa with Rin and Yukio until he's a bit more steady on his feet. o7]

[Finally. The voice is raspy but it's something he can communicate with as he tries squinting over at the other Lombax. Whatever had happened to him was clearing up little by little, but the old General had no super-human abilities to assist in the process, no nearby Nanotech he could think to take. He'd fight - something he remembered he was good at.
Something's... not right here, however. He thought there already was a young Lombax in his company? The voice was extremely familiar and he can't quite see the other's face.
Unless--]
I... I know you...
Re: [Action]
Of course you know me. We're friends. Come on. You need rest.
[Action]
W-we're friends.
...Ka... den.
Re: [Action]
Alister...my names not Kaden.
[Action]
Kaden, I-- [The elder Lombax starts to reach out to the younger's face, running a hand along his cheek slowly. But it isn't long after that the hand starts to shake, and the old General's voice starts choking up.]
I'm s-sorry... but I'm so h-happy you're here. Tell me you're real. Tell me.
Re: [Action]
Yeah, it's me. Good to see you Alister.
[Action]
Because now the General's scrambling up on his feet - somewhat. He'd fallen back down on his knees - and two shaking arms wrap around the smaller form with a sound of pure delight. Kaden was here and alive and safe and...!
Careful. Careful, don't wanna have a spill in front of him, do we?]
I can't believe it's you... after so long...
Kaden, I-I'm so sorry.
Re: [Action]
It's alright. Calm down. I forgive you.
[Action]
He remembered Kaden himself, demanding Alister's exile.
But he'd waited a lifetime to hear those three, simple words. 'I forgive you'. 'I forgive you.' The sound that emits from the old General's voice is nothing short of a strained whimper, holding his dear friend close in fear of losing him again. That he would be gone as soon as he'd let go.
Gone was the stern, practical demeanor. The General felt as young as he had been then, all over again.]

I'm an idiot.
