[Angelina used to find curses rather amusing. But that was because none of them had affected her yet. Today when she woke up, she felt different, a ticklish sensation on hear head, near her ears. When she reached to touch them, they were big and furry!

She rushes over to her mirror, still wearing her nightshirt and notices she has adorable red fox ears sitting on top of her head. Wishing to be reassured, she turns on her SFC and promptly broadcasts a video.

As the feed opens, you can't yet see her face.]

Good morning, dear Vatheonites. Has anyone awoken today feeling rather... different?

Because I am quite sure that last night I did not have these!

[She holds the SFC in a way in which you can see her pointing at her new ears with her free hand.]

Fortunately these did not come with a tail, but honestly. Fox ears? [Pffft...] Whoever heard of such nonsense anyway...

Well, I do hope this is just a curse, but a week is such a long time...

[ William flutters his wings a bit, obviously a grumpy little birdie. ]

[Yes, the grumpiness gives her a clue as to who it might be, and now he typed out his name.]

[ Assistance, yes. What kind exactly, he's not at all sure. He's never been trapped in a bird's body before.

So, instead of more horrible typing, he tries to convey how unsettled he's feeling by curling up into a tight little confused ball of feathers. ]

Well, whatever you look like right now, I could never consider you a monster.

[She smiles gently at the grumpy little bird.]

I could bring you home and take care of you until the curse is over, if you would like.

This is stunned silence.

In his head, there are so many things wrong with that that he doesn't even. It feels rather fast to make a decision about a person's character, because Duke is fairly sure he isn't that far from being considered one, if only just because the 'human monster' idea but... ]

.... [ Nope, he can't think of anything to say that is a direct reply to that, so somewhat of a tangent. ]

Monster applies to everything that is not domesticated. There are dogs, cats, seabirds, housebirds, and horse-like creatures, but everything else is 'monster'.

[She seriously can't see Duke as a monster. In her eyes, he's just a shy and a bit eccentric type of noble. Though in all honesty, she doesn't know much of him.]

Maybe to some, but I believe there are many non-dosmeticated interesting creatures. Such as lions and wolves.

[ Pidgy!Will perks his head up and gives a tiny 'coo' ]

Does not help that many will quite gladly attack any human sighted.

Where do you happen to live, Mr. Spears? Or would you rather meet me outside of the clinic tonight?

[Though when she thinks of it,she wonders if she will be allowed to work with a pair of furry ears.]

Probably not. But it would not be a human's business to intrude upon their domain, do you not think?

At least you only have the ears, Madam. Not all of us have that fortune.

[Feeling different, huh? Here glaring into the screen is a fluffy-looking grey feline, obviously none too pleased.]

Oh no, you have new ears. Such a hindrance! How ever are you going to go through life with these fuzzy things on your head? I mean it has to be so hard to do everyday tasks, like open doors or containers or drawers, or pick up everyday objects without having to resort to biting onto things - forget anything big or heavy - or the outright impossible of operating once simple tools. I can't even leave my own hive without help, but poor woman on the network: you have fluffy ears.

And to think, my option isn't even the worst that could have happened. I could be stuck with hooves like the last time a curse turned me into a quadruped, or into a penguin or a bee like others I've seen this curse.

If you did have the tail, what you be complaining about then? A bump in your dress? Having to sit funny?
