[The feed opens up to a rather large blur of pink -- quite indistinguishable really -- and remains rather silent and stationary for a good 10 seconds. Then, the sound of shuffling comes through the SFC as the pink mass begins to move, revealing a rather perplexed looking young girl when it turns around.

She looks about as one would expect upon arrival, long hair and dress clinging to her in a manner that doesn't exactly scream princess so much as it does drowned rat.]

Oh dear. It appears as though I've lost my way... this doesn't look a thing like any place in the palace I've ever been.

[Considering she lives there, it's a bit hard to believe she'd simply taken a wrong turn and ended up somewhere that looks like the bottom of the ocean. In fact...]

I certainly don't remember going for a swim, and the last time I woke up soaked like this was... [Kamine Island. Which only brought one thought to mind.] Brother!

That pink hair was all too familiar – and although she was wet, she was still very recognizable.

[He just stares blankly at the SFC for a few moments – he had realized that it was, in fact, possible to bring back the dead here. Mao after all, had been very dead the last time he had checked. Startling as it was to see him here, he had attributed it to the fact that this place was strange at best.

But it was Euphie - the one that he had used Geass on, and then killed with his own hands.

There had been moments, especially shortly after her death, what he would’ve done if he could see her again. Of course those thoughts were fleeting; he had to push past them, and keep moving forward.

No amount of tactics could’ve predicted this. Hearing her say ‘brother’ made a chill run down his spine – if it had been meant for him or not, it was still unnerving.]

[Finally, he recovers. This wasn’t a way to welcome his sister to Vatheon, and if he were to alarm her, he may have to say more than he wants to before he assessed the situation correctly.

So he turns on the feed to respond to her, mask in place with a welcoming smile. He had to act like everything was alright – he had done it so often already, right?]

Euphie. [He caught his voice faltering just slightly; maybe she hadn’t heard it, but he’s carrying on as if nothing was wrong:] I’m sorry to say that you’re very far from anything that you’d find recognizable. You’re in a different world altogether – a place called Vatheon.

[He frowns slightly though, but it’s the concern of a brother, not the panicked face of someone who killed his sister.]

Are you injured, or harmed in any way?

I suppose you're right, even if I believe that everyone should be held accountable for their actions -- gods and men alike. Things are truly as easy as you say? I must admit that it unnerves me a bit to know that we've been kidnapped and branded for some unknown reason. For things to be this easy... there must be some sort of price, surely.

About a month, actually, so not as long as some others but long enough to get a feel for the city. Care of a guided tour from yours truely?

[Hearing Lelouch's voice was perhaps the greatest relief since her arrival. Sure, it hadn't been long at all since she last saw him -- but losing him once was hard enough, and it meant everything to her to know they wouldn't be separated again with her entrance to Vatheon.

Any emotion detected in his voice is assumed to be a mirror of her own relief, so she doesn't pay it any extra heed at the moment. She's simply left to smile at her brother's concern and the fact that some things never appear to change.]

Far from anything recognisable? Lelouch, but you're right here in front of me, aren't you? [She tilts her head to the side and offers a small giggle in teasing.]

Oh, but I'm perfectly fine, if not still a bit confused about this world. After all, I never would've thought to make a home beneath the water like this!

I see. Just how long are we kept here then, I wonder? [A pause, then the worry evaporates.] Oh, but I would absolutely love a tour of the city if you're certain it's not a bother!

[There's a little bit of relief there when she acknowledges him favorably - even though he had done absolutely nothing to deserve it. Yes, she was the same little Euphie.

It didn't really matter how many times she got the same answers, it was still difficult to believe their current situation.
