[When the names had vanished off the list, Johnny had gone straight to the coral to wait. They'd be back, of course. Why wouldn't they be? But it was the end of the three days and there was no sign. They were gone. It made sense, when he thought about it, Crowley didn't have anything here, at least Aziraphale was back home for him. And Jacob had that island he clearly loved so much.

And then there was Otoha; he didn't need to wait three days for him, the bar keys and letter were telling enough.

With a sigh, he switched the voice feed on; he was too tired to wear a mask.]


Jacob, Crowley, and Otoha have all gone home.

Otoha's bar'll still be open, for those of you who liked to go there. The hours just might be a little more..limited.

[He did still have his tavern and the school, after all.

[He makes one anyway and throws it over her head, taking that quick moment before she tries to move it to melt his clothes and make new ones.

Not that he had a shred of modesty when it came to nudity, but it was more for her sake.]

Mmm...maybe we should fix that sometime. [After all, Minea was a sweet cat, but she was a cat-demon and could take care of herself and talk...not exactly common for a pet.]

They are interesting creatures. I'm just not entirely sure how to take care of one and I wouldn't want to mess it up.

[Fai's not sure what to say to that. He really does like Minea, but it's true she's not like your common pet. Still he'd not given much thought to what he'd have if he were allowed to. He's continuing to forget just how much freedom he has in Vatheon.]

It's your friend's chocobo, right? I can understand you wanting to make sure it's taken care of in case they come back. That's important.

[He doesn't want to tell Fai he's afraid Otoha won't come back. mostly because, he has no answer for the impending 'why' that would follow. Plus...there was always the chance he would Johnny just wasn't betting on it.]

Yeah, exactly. I'd hate to tell him something happened to it.

[You don't have to tell him that. It's a fear he has concerning the few he's grown attached to, so he can imagine that with so many people leaving so quickly that Johnny liked he must be feeling it too. Johnny wouldn't even have to tell him why. Reason means nothing for a fear like that.]

You want to be a good friend and do what's best. Just don't try to do everything by yourself, okay? I'm sure there's things you don't wanna talk to me about, but don't forget that there's Yuui and Sola too.

[He wasn't expecting that and it makes him pause. He knows Fai can't see it, but he smiles.]

I think...I would probably be able to strike up a friendship with her again. I still like her for who she is, not just who I am to her. She's a good person, one I'm honored to know, and lost memories can't change that.

You're drinking and you don't even know what getting drunk means? It's when you ingest too much alcohol and start acting...out of the normal. Like being drugged.

It's different for different people. Some people get silly and some get tired and some angry, it just depends.

Bottom line is that it removes your inhibitions.
