[When the video flickers on, it's set next to one bare grey foot. There's a voice quietly humming, and a shift knocks the SFC to give a better view.

Mituna's sitting on one of the steeper parts of the island's coast, holding a large conch shell to his ear as he hums along to the tune he can hear inside it. He's looking out over the sea, eyes fixed on the horizon, the blustery wind whipping his hair up.

The tide is coming in, just visible in the corner of the video, but if he thinks that's a problem, he's not moving. It's just as likely that he hasn't actually noticed.]

[Oh. That's not good.]

Oi, Mituna. You gonna move?

[It takes longer than it should for him to notice the voice, at first looking around as if unsure where it's coming from.

After a few moments, he squints down at the SFC, and picks it up between his thumb and forefinger. His nose crunches up as he peers at the human.]

... hi.

Hi.

[Well it's a start, at least.]

The tide's coming in, are you gonna move at all?

Mituna? [Oh dear he's a bit worried too. Look at all these old men fussing!] How are you doing?

[He'll start slow.]

[Mituna brings all the papas.

He wiggles his fingers at the older troll.]

Ok.

[The conch shell is lowered from his ear, and he hunches his shoulders forwards. It's cold, but he doesn't seem to be taking notice.]

Th'up.

[helmetdoesnothing]

[His attention drifts over to the rolling waves, one red and one blue eye squinting against the wind. Mituna can't remember if he ever saw the sea when he was alive, and he's been dead so long that he's not really sure how somethings.. work.]

What for?

I'm doing very well myself. I've heard it is rather cold on the island. What would you say? I haven't been up there yet this week.

[paladaddy]

You'll get wet.

[Shiro's not going to bring up the possibility of being dragged out to sea by the tide, as he figures Mituna will move before that becomes a problem.]

And it's freezing cold right now, you'll catch a cold if you go for a swim.

[helmetdoesnothing]

Hmm..

[Despite it all, Mituna appears relatively at peace right now. He looks away again. The wind pulls at his hair like a living thing.]

Pretty f-fucking cold.

[helmetdoesnothing]

[He considers this while he watches the waves move closer. Then, he lets out a sigh and pushes himself to his feet, wobbling against the incline of the ground.]

Yeah. Ok.

[Wish him luck. He looks like he might fall over at any moment and go sliding down the cliff.]

Would you like me to come up with a jacket or something? Maybe we could watch the tide come in together.

[There, simple and casual. Probably. What even was casual?]

[Hopefully he doesn't, since Shiro is down in the underwater city and it would take him far too long to get to where Mituna is if he needs to be rescued. But Shiro will still wait until Mituna is done moving to higher ground before speaking again.]

[helmetdoesnothing]

[He does slip a few times. Balance isn't his strong point and the wind doesn't help. Each time, he slides a little way down the cliffside before finding his footing again, but slowly he makes his way to the top of the shoreline, out of the reach of the rising tide.

Huffing, he sits down again. There's yellow beading in small scrapes on the palms of his hands.]

Fucking fthuck.

[If he was thinking about it he'd probably be something like impressed with how casual Darkleer was being.

Remember, the only troll he has for comparison is Horuss.

Mituna nods. He is pretty cold.]

Ok. I'll wait here.

[Sob, Horuss, he just... don't tell him about Horuss okay.]

Alright, I'll be up soon.

[And off he goes! Funny how quick you can be when you have long STRONG strides. Soon enough, he's up on the island and quickly searching for Mituna in hopes that the tide hasn't swallowed him up yet. There's a large but plainblack jacket in his arms that should hopefully be plenty warm.]

[Well that doesn't sound good at all.]

[The problem with the SFC turning on accidentally is that if Mituna hasn't noticed it, Kurloz can't exactly speak to get his attention. So he doesn't bother. Instead, he heads for the elevator, not bothering to do anything like grab a coat. Sure, it's cold up there, but so is he. He can handle it.

There's no rush, either. The tide moves slow. He can get to his moirail before the water does. And sure enough, even without rushing, he's coming up the coastline toward Mituna. His hair is even more wild in the wind, but it's out of his eyes enough for him to see where he's going.]

[It's not uncommon for Sola to spend his time up on the island, exploring what there is to see, collecting things. He's been up here for an hour already, snagging different shells and listening to their songs, even keeping the ones he likes when he spies Mituna sitting near the surf. Maybe Trolls like the ocean? Signless likes to stand in it a lot after all, so maybe this one does too? It's not the waves that catch Sola's attention though, it's the humming.]

[He grins at her. Nepeta's made a good impression on him.]

Yeth. But it'th cold.

[The voices makes him jump, and he looks 'round with a start and soft hiss of surprise. His hair whips up out of his bi-coloured eyes and he stares for a moment, blue and red vein-like scars webbing from his temples and standing up against his grey skin.

It's then that he seems to realise he was being addressed, and he looks to the shell in his hand.]

It'th quiet. They don't all sound the thame but I like thith one betht.

[He's moved by then, sitting higher up along the coast, though it puts him more in the way of the wind. The yellowblood's eyes are still on the horizon, but as if prodded by an unseen force, he looks up and around when Kurloz comes into view.

A toothy grin is given to the other troll, and he waves at him, almost overbalancing himself down the cliff in the process.

Oops.]

Yeth.

[He's grown used to feeling pain again, with how often he falls off his board. The troll lifts up one of his hands to show Shiro.]

[helmetdoesnothing]

[That's okay Mituna thinks he's creepy too.. and that's coming from Mituna.

In the time it took Darkleer to get up there, someone else has evidently persuaded Mituna to move - or he moved under his own realisation that getting wet isn't something he wants to happen. The young troll has scrabbled his way back up the cliffside and is now picking at small shreds of bloody skin on his palms where the rocks cut into his hands.]

[At first it doesn't look that bad, but then Shiro remembers that Mituna bleeds yellow, not red.]

Aaaah, you got scraped up. Want me to come up there and take care of that?
