It depends. Outside of the three families who originated the Holy Grail Ritual together, almost no one knows about the true intention of the Holy Grail War. Most Masters, like their Servants, believe that it's just a way to get a wish granted. So the Servants aren't really being tricked then, if their Masters are being tricked too.

But there has never been a winner of the Holy Grail War, so it has never reached that point where a Master has to turn on his Servant.

Two hundred years, with the War itself happening five times so far, once every sixty years. Well, I got pulled out of the fifth, but I guess I'll be going back eventually.

Why do you want to know?

Usually it's because no one is left in a capacity to accept the Grail. And the Grail has been destroyed before in a War.

Then why are you interested in non-humans? Are you not human, too?

Then why that particular question?

[Really, she's just a little irked at feeling compelled to answer that first question...]
livingvessel: (whyyyyy)

[personal profile] livingvessel 2013-05-26 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
But without any sort of reason other than just wanting to know?

That just sounds really suspicious.

[And she pictures a really fake innocent smile...]

That's true. But do you really have no other motive?

[You know, just to make sure.]
