[She enters the cafe, leading them both to a secluded corner table away from other patrons. Given the tenor of the conversation, privacy is a good idea. She takes a seat, and waves a waiter over right away so they won't have to deal with too many interruptions. While placing her order, she asks for one of the welcoming pamphlets. she had suggested that they leave a few of them with the businesses in the area, after all, just in case new arrivals lost or ignored their initial ones. ]

The current brochures don't do a very good job of addressing the common concerns of new arrivals. Sure, it's important for them to know where they can find housing and food, but wouldn't it be a good idea to open with reassurances about the temporal implications of arrival? It doesn't really say anything about how events on your homeworld are not going to be impacted by your time here, and a lot of people seem to be brought from critical moments where their supposed absence would be distressing.
