15 [VIDEO]
So, who wants to see an absolutely amazing video of the one and only Johann Faust?
[He doesn't give anyone a chance to answer before flipping the video over from live feed to something he recorded earlier. In this particular video, Mephisto happens to be wearing a cassock and a priest's hat. Shiro's voice can also be heard, but it's coming from off-screen.]
Oi, quote a verse that feels particularly moving to you.
That, I'm afraid is a gargantuan task in itself, for what verse do I not find moving? What line does not speak to me like poetry? Tell me what you'd like to hear.
Do something from Corinthians, that seems like something right up your alley.
Would that be from the first or second letter? Nontheless, there's one in the second that comes as particularly poetic.
"For whenever the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so through Christ, a great comfort also overflows. So if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort an salvation, and if we receive comfort it is also for you. You may experience the same comfort when you come to endure the same sufferings we endure. Our hope for you is most firm, just as you share in our sufferings, so shall you also share in our consolation."
[After Mephisto is done speaking the quote, Shiro turns off the recording and switches it back to himself in the present. he's grinning and trying his best to bite back laughter.]
I bet none of you have ever seen that side of him before, have you?
((OOC: Purple is Mephisto, black is Shiro.))
