--how many scientists n' magic scholars're actually in Vatheon? Resident anti-science brigade's out cold, s'figured I'd ask.

Including myself, my last count was around four, but the number has grown exponentially since then.

There's an anti-science brigade? That sounds unpleasant.

[Who could hate science? Life is so terribly boring without it!]

...Honestly? I have no idea. I'm an alchemist but I've never had the need to ask how many others there were within the city but... What is the anti-science brigade? This is the first I've heard of something like that here.

... Own sort of magic seems to be more based on math than others I have encountered. I don't know how much of it is 'science'.

I didn't realize there was an anti-science brigade here.

[ Sorry, your use of spoken language is a little hard for Duke to wrap his head around. Give him a moment. ]

Definitely less of music. Magic is used in barriers, most projectile weaponry that would exceed the size and range of a human-held crossbow or compound bow, lighting, heating, water cleaning and producing. Quite possible that it is both.

One ignorant child hardly counts as an army, though the assault on one's ears speaks otherwise at times.

[If there isn't an actual brigade to contend with, Walter feels comfortable enough announcing his profession. Maybe he'll find someone with similar interests, hopefully someone that has a lab.]

I am a scientist back on my world. Is there any reason in particular you're searching?

Anti-science? Oh, fuck that guy.

I build robots. That sciencey enough for you?
spacecase: (YAY!)

I specialize in nuclear physics and I build robots!

[And ain't that the most perky voice anyone can hear from someone claiming to be a scientist.]

I can't imagine a world without some concept of science. Medical care must be atrocious.

You could say I was a scientist in another life time, if I'm not being too terribly literal about it.

Oh, really? Well I suppose it's nice to know I'm not the only one then.

I can't say that I highly subscribe to science. [Mumbles] Even though I though I'm teaching theoretical physics [Crocker's vocal increase to normal] But that's besides the point.
So - YES! I'd consider myself a magic scholar, why?
spacecase: (talk about it somewhere only we know)

Hmm? I am sixteen, why do you ask?
