Eighth Wish ❀ Video/Action to Riku + his housemates

[Hello Vatheon! Kiryu presents~ The sight of one haggard looking Puella Magi, groggily trying to sit up from what she thinks is still her bed from her own bedroom.]

[A soft groan and then unintelligible mumbling can be heard. It does look like the young woman isn't quite lucid yet.]

[Mami looked really exhausted (which was expected of someone who fell asleep for almost a month.) The blanket managed to find itself draped over her shoulders while Mami tries to rouse herself into alertness. Two sets of meows can be heard. One from Aurelio and the other from the naughty kitty who turned on the SFC in the first place.]

Mew~ Mew~~

Mrooooow.

... Aurelio. [wait a minute... Mami rubs her eyes, dropping her gaze to the bed where she finds not only her Ragamuffin but Riku's little kitten as well.] Kiryu? My, my, what time is it?

[a beat and a yawn] ... Where am I?

[It's quiet, coming from the doorway as the owner of the voice leans against the frame. He'd almost sound amused if it weren't for the look of concern. Someone heard the mewling from the two pets and decided to check it out after making sure Sora wasn't going to make the kitchen explode.

...Okay, and he only recently woke up, too. Like... two hour difference.]

You passed out while we were on duty, so I brought you here. [Wiping the sleepiness from one of his eyes, he smirks a bit.] Though, I did stop by to pick up your cat.

Morning sunshine. [She's so sarcastic. You gotta love her.]

Who knows what time it is? I haven't checked.

[Oh Kyouko, you're so helpful.]

[Mami whips her head around, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. It takes her a while to place who the voice belonged to due to her state of sleepiness. She lets out a sleepy smile when she finally recognized that it was indeed Riku who spoke, making her wrap the blanket around her tighter while her other hand reaches out to pet the kittens on the bed.]

Ah, Riku-san. Good morning.

[Which earns a weary, sleepy chuckle from him. The only reason he's up and about is because he's far too used to having to wake up immediately and have to fight for his life. However, he does glance away out of courtesy.]

Morning, Mami. [and suddenly, there's an innocent, slightly teasing smirk crossing his lips.] I take it you slept well enough?

I think I may have overdone it, Riku-san.

[She moves so the she can sit on the edge of the bed where she can face him properly. The cats follow though Kiryu leaves Mami's side so that he can scamper towards Riku while Aurelio moves to curl up on Mami's lap.]

How long... was I out?

Good morning, Sakura-san. [Oh Kyouko. First dose of sarcasm in the morning.]

It seems that I've been asleep longer than I thought.

Heh. Not as bad as Sora did.

[Riku picks up his silly kitten, giving him pets as he does so.]

...Longer than me. [a beat.] Today's the 22nd, so... about forty days-?

... Oh my goodness!

[That piece of news seems to have woken up. Mami idly pets Aurelio who purrs happily in return.]

Forty days... really, Riku-san? No wonder I feel so tired.

[Yeah, it's quite some time isn't it?]

Yeah... [Riku chuckles as Kiryu mewls, batting at his long hair.] I don't these two left your side the entire time.

Oh?

[She glances at the two felines, relishing tummy scritches on Aurelio's belly.]

How sweet of them! Thank you Aurelio, Kiryu. I'm glad you two stayed with me.

[Kiryu mewls what one would guess as a "you're welcome" in cat-speak, but how can he be sure? Riku is certainly not Pete, after all...]

There's fresh tea in the kitchen if you'd like some. ...I wouldn't recommend going in there yourself, though.

[He mutters something akin to "mess" and "Sora"...]

[She's always glad to be that dose of sarcasm.]

Guess so. How long have you been out for?

[ And just checking in from the clinic because hey, people getting into dem sleep comas seems to be common nowadays. ]

Ah. Tomoe-san. Good morning. It seems you've been out for a while.

[Aurelio is already long gone, rolling around in bliss because of Mami's pettings so have a purr instead, Mami.]

[didn't quite catch the muttering. brain still starting up :U] I would but... Why not? Is there something wrong, Riku-san?

According to Riku-san, I was out for forty days, Sakura-san. He said I passed out while we were on duty...

Ah, good morning, sensei. [She nods.] Yes. Forty days to be exact.

Geez, that's a long time. [She shakes her head.] Sounds like ya can start calling yourself Rip Van Winkle.

[Kiryu isn't far behind, now. Riku chuckles under his breath, shaking his head.]

Apparently Sora tried to cook while I was asleep. [And that is the only explanation she is getting before ducking out like a Bond villain and going to bring back some tea.]

Quite a while indeed.

[ There's a furrow to his brow, however, as if he's just considered something. ]</small. I believe... I've started to notice a very small pattern with these sudden sleep spells.

... Should I consider that as a bad thing, then?

[she laughs]

Oh goodness! Let's hope it doesn't come to that then.

Oh? What sort of pattern is that, sensei?

[Yes, yes she should. He comes back with the cups of tea, remembering vaguely which one was her favorite from having worked with her for a while, now.]

... Kitchens tend to explode when he walks into them.

Let's hope not. I'd hate to see how you'd look like like that.

[Aww Black tea ;u; Best big bro ever~

She takes it gratefully, saying her thanks before blowing at the surface and taking a sip.]

Oh goodness! [she chuckles] I'll be sure not to let him anywhere near mine.

[She kids, of course. XD]

[chuckles]

I do think this will not happen again, Sakura-san. You can be assured of that. I do apologize for relegating my Defense Force duties to you and Riku-san though. I may need to make it up to you both sometime.

Eh, not like I had anything to do. But compensation's always nice, too. I'm not turnin' my nose up at that.

Then I shall bake homemade cake and brew tea for the three of us.

Cake sounds good to me. Just tell me when to show up.

[and she'll eat all of it single handedly.]

[Oh dear. Mami either needs to make two cakes or one giant cake for the three of them.]

All right. I shall ring you and Riku-san up when the time comes.

Right. I'll be waiting for it then.

Of course. I shall see you and Riku-san soon then, Sakura-san.
