[ Newcomers aside, Raine was more interested in learning more about Vatheon than those coming in. However, there is something about the guests she would like to address and learn more about. She's been looking at the SFC from time to time and have noticed different types of creatures and races she hasn't seen before. So, being the Professor, she would like to know more about these creatures.

She's seems to be in a hut on the island. Not the best one but it worked. Around her with the supplies she had asked others to receive for her as well as some books. She looks much better than when she had first arrived here on Vatheon as well. ]

I have noticed quite an array of different species and races here in Vatheon. If I may, ask if some might tell me more about yourselves? That is, if you wish to do so.

[ She understands if you don't want to. She really does. Personally she wouldn't want to but this place seems to be a lot more understanding than home and... she was curious.

She seems to ponder another things before speaking up once more. ]

How quickly does one feel ill after not touching the coral within the time span in which you must do so?

[ She's going to have to in about oh.. a week and a half or so but the problem is she can't seem to get herself into the elevator and back down to the bubble. But that's something she's not going to openly admit. ]

[Not one to keep secrets, the genius technician immediately pipes up with a response:] I'm Pascal! My favorite color is yellow and I love bananas. Oh, yeah, and I'm an Amarcian. [Because the fact she's a part of a thought to be extinct race is totally an afterthought.] What else d'ya wanna know?

[ Raine's interest perks up at the sound of 'Amarcian' ]

Greetings, Pascal. My name is Raine Sage. Would you be kind enough to explain more about your race?

Yeah, sure! [She's got nothing to hide, after all!] So like, there's not a lot of us left or whatever, but we have all this nifty technology and knowledge and stuff. Oh, and my ancestors left ruins all over my world that I am totally exploring, too!

[... you mentioned ruins Pascal. you mentioned ruins. ]

Ruins, you say? Would you be so kind as to tell me what you have learned from the ruins your ancestors have told you~?

Oh, y'know, just the typical ruiny-type things.

[Informative, no?]

[ She frowns. She wants to know more about those ruins ]

Like what? Certainly there is something you can tell me!

Well, it'd be easier if I could show you. But I can't right now.

[Since they're stuck here and all.]

And you can't tell me anything that you have learned from the ruins?

[ Certainly there had to have been something. ]

[When she puts it that way–]

Oh yeah, I can tell you losta stuff! Like, they're different from other ruins because they were built a long time ago, so you just kinda pshew right down to 'em via this wooby wobbly ka-tang kind of thing. And then there's this thingamabob that you tappy tappy and ka-chunk on the dongles to get it to work and stuff. This hologram illusiony thing of Sophie popped up when I fiddled with it along with some smudgy writing that said "Lambda" or whatever. [She puts a finger on her cheek and furrows her brows a bit.] I'm still kinda figuring out what it means, but I think we might find out if we go to Fodra, which is where I was totally going before coming here.

[ ... okay. how she just described the ruins is almost like how Lloyd would probably try to describe a ruin to her. Not. Helpful. At. all. Though there was something that catches Raine's interest and it was the hologram. It reminds her of the holograms made by magitechnology back home. ]

You need to learn how to explain things better, Pascal. But.. yes. The Lambda sounds like it'll be an interesting discovery.

I know right! I have a few theories, but I won't know for sure until I can get back home.

[Or her friends tell her, but whatevs.]

If you ever feel the need to explain these theories to anyone I would be honored to hear you out. Hearing more about other worlds are another thing I would like to research while in Vatheon.
