[ The past day or so has been busy for the Professor. Ever since the island have changed she's been awake and about studying the "new environment" on the island and gathering as much detail as possible. If you've been on the island lately you might have heard some laughing in the distance a few times. Quite possibly it could have been her.

But alas, everyone must sleep sometime and she's included. Finally deciding to take a break from her discoveries and what might call exploring she settles down in a place where she can sleep. Setting everything aside she gets comfortable unknowing what exactly what was to come in the dreams ahead. ]

( Dream One - Not exactly the best thing to dream in Vatheon )

[ She wakes up in a daze. Great. She was trying to take care of her phobia so she can at least travel to the bubble for places such as the library but right now the thought of doing so seems to be non-existent. She sighs. Even if the dream turns out not too bad in the end the beginning was enough. Not noticing that the Dreamberry is on she turns over as she makes an attempt to get a better sleep. ]

Good evening, Vatheon. As many of you may have noticed, the structure of the communication devices ordinarily used has significantly changed.

[ it is almost like he is using a working cellphone again. ]

I would like to confirm the scope of these changes. To the unseeing eye, it would appear to be something akin to a modernized technological upgrade— a GPS, translator, and games are all available now among other functions. Curiously enough, there is an included add-on for a weather forecast that is entirely ineffectual. [ this is odd because there is usually weather— albeit not within the barrier. ] If anyone could also confirm the current status of the island for me I would be very grateful.

[ and returning to the run-down— ]

In actuality, this is not an upgrade, but a transformation; that much should already be evident by the change in shape alone. The construction is different— unlike SFCs, these can be taken apart with no damage if you're careful enough. There is also a card slot within the device that serves an unknown purpose.

The most interesting change would be within the formatting options. Note that there is now a "dream" function available... one that I am somehow unable to utilize. If anyone has any further information, it would be appreciated.

Lastly, if anyone is feeling a bit daring, I have a favor to ask.

[Hello Vatheon have all the flaily arms. Hideyoshi is as usual kicking about on his epic fancy sofa, or was up until a moment ago - he's just leaped to his feet and thrown his arms up in frustration, SFC and all. He gestures wildly with it as he speaks. Welcome to MonkeyCam.]

That's it, I can't take this anymore, if I don't find something to do I'll go insane!

Do any of you need someone to do work - any kind of work? I'll do anything! Just walking around, eating free food anymore all day, feeling like some big fat lord - me! It just isn't right!

[Ran is in Conan's vacant bedroom. Where there was once a sleeping 10-year-old there's now rumpled sheets. His glasses are gone, his sneakers no where to be found--and the angle of the feed keeps changing as Ran continues to pace frantically around the room.]

[ Newcomers aside, Raine was more interested in learning more about Vatheon than those coming in. However, there is something about the guests she would like to address and learn more about. She's been looking at the SFC from time to time and have noticed different types of creatures and races she hasn't seen before. So, being the Professor, she would like to know more about these creatures.

She's seems to be in a hut on the island. Not the best one but it worked. Around her with the supplies she had asked others to receive for her as well as some books. She looks much better than when she had first arrived here on Vatheon as well. ]

I have noticed quite an array of different species and races here in Vatheon. If I may, ask if some might tell me more about yourselves? That is, if you wish to do so.

[ She understands if you don't want to. She really does. Personally she wouldn't want to but this place seems to be a lot more understanding than home and... she was curious.

She seems to ponder another things before speaking up once more. ]

How quickly does one feel ill after not touching the coral within the time span in which you must do so?

[ She's going to have to in about oh.. a week and a half or so but the problem is she can't seem to get herself into the elevator and back down to the bubble. But that's something she's not going to openly admit. ]

Hello again, Vatheon. Could any of you tell me if the pattern of new arrivals has ever changed before now? There have been a startling amount in the past few days, and I'm quite certain it's not time just yet. Any theories as to what this might mean?
