| Gnomeday, Gnome Redecan 02, ND 2018( Action for the Ordo apartment )---- [It's only after he' had a good share of time to talk to Zelda and get his bearings that Guy finally picks up his SFC, opting to keep himself anonymous this time around. There was too much that had happened while he was gone. It would just be nice to get a general sense of the city, if anything else.]Breaking the ice around strangers is pretty hard, isn't it? I know we all have to do it all the time around here, with everyone coming and going. But it doesn't make it any easier.
Some people take to it easier than others, though. And I'm sure some of you have learned ways to interact with a new person just by being in this crazy place.
So tell me, Vatheon. How would you treat a stranger? |
|
| Hmhmhmhm... HAAHAHAHAHAHA!
[The end of this last curse has a certain Overlord very happy. Even if he seems to have overslept the exact end date by a bit. Hey, it lasted an unusual two weeks, how was he to know?]
Now this is more like it!
Anyone who's interested in a real boss battle, I'm more than happy to show you how it's done. I know there are a few worms in particular I promised to knock around once I got my powers back. |
|
| A day to celebrate love, huh. Is anyone else missing someone special from home today?
[Personally, she'll be spending it curled up on her couch, cuddled up with Sacra and watching whatever Vatheon's version of sappy love movies are.] |
|
| [the device has been simple enough for Kaworu to figure out. he's laying on his back on a couch somewhere, his silver hair splayed messily, and he's smiling at the device that he's holding out straight ahead, both of his arms fully extended.]
This place is very strange.
It's amusing enough, but I wonder—are people's dreams here always broadcasted like that? It makes for an interesting first impression, to bare the psyche unwittingly like that. It's almost... intimate. Right? Isn't it? Does it feel violating, for someone having seen your dreams? |
|
| [At first, Roxas's dreamworld doesn't seem all that terrible. He walks the streets of Twilight Town, with the warm glow of sunset catching the tops of the buildings, the space between in comfortable shadow.
Except that everything is much too still and quiet. Not a soul stirs all along Market Street, and the tram common is utterly deserted, the tram frozen at some point along its track. Only the sun seems to be moving, sinking farther behind the buildings, the shadows deepening. Roxas picks up his pace.]Hayner! Pence! Olette? [Each shout is softer and less certain. His voice echoes strangely in the silence, and somehow he knows, this time it's not going to work. It's not supposed to work.
Movement catches his eye and he turns-- A trio of Dusks ripple up out of nowhere and slither towards him. He takes a step back.]No. I told you I wasn't going back. [They don't acknowledge his words, but keep coming. Roxas calls Oathkeeper, reluctantly sinking into a fighting stance...][It takes a while for Roxas to waken. There's nothing startling in the dream: a world empty except for Nobodies. It leaves him feeling empty, like hasn't in a while, and he just lies staring up at the ceiling.]((Open to interaction or network replies~)) |
|
| ( There be violence of the strangulation kind under here. )[Present day Maka wakes up from her rest at what looks to be a desk. She looks pale, but more irritated than anything, this doesn't change when she notices her SFC turned on. Though she doesn't bother to offer an apology for the dreaded accidental broadcast, she instead scowls and mutters to herself about defective tech and turns it off.]((ooc: This dream is non-interactive but why would you want otherwise, so just network replies please.)) |
|
| Hello everyone...
[There's a pause, as he hesitates.]
I-I was only wondering about something... I-it's nothing really important, just...
[another pause.]
...Is there any way to gain more confidence...?
[Preferably some other way than being told that he needs to believe in himself or be more open.
Since that doesn't help much and as you can see he still suffers from lack of confidence.] |
|
| [It's not very obvious from his tone of voice, but Mitsuhide has gone backwards in time to the age of eighteen and is thus experiencing the shock of Vatheon all over again. For five days he had been stuck within the forest, with no knowledge of what lay beyond; a chance discovery of his SFC, combined with a local stumbling across Mitsuhide and Motochika's hut in the wood, has finally brought him and his companion to the main area of the underwater city.]
[It's overwhelming, to say the least.]
[The young man sounds rather awkward and unsure of what he's doing. The device he holds in his hands is far beyond any technology he is familiar with.]
I assume this is working... I am using it in the manner I was told.
[There is a pause as he checks the SFC over.]
If that is so, greetings to my fellow captives. I am Akechi Mitsuhide, a samurai bound in service to the Saitō clan of the Minō province of Japan. Most of you likely experienced the same shock as I did when I arrived, so I shall go no further into that.
[Alright, perhaps not exactly the same. Mitsuhide is starting to blush a little as he talks, but, of course, that is not visible. One might pick up on the embarrassment in his voice, however.]
Right now I have secured a home in the forest with Lord Motochika... or I suppose I should say that I arrived in that place, and it suits us fine for now. The local people of this place have been very generous in assisting us, so I shall offer my deepest thanks for that.
[There is a longer pause now, as Mitsuhide wills himself to get to the point of the post. There is one major reason he has come to talk to the network.]
I wish to ask a question.... would someone be willing to tell me the best places to obtain more of the wondrous dessert known as 'chocolate?' |
|
| [To anyone watching their SFC, they might catch a glimpse of a familiar, albeit much smaller face of a certain resident half demon. His blue eyes are huge, hair messy, in clothes far too big for his tiny tiny body. It's there for a flash, as in his frantic state he knocks it right off the end table, turning it in to a view of the ceiling of the room he normally shares with Maka.
Not that he remembers that. Tiny Rin unfortunately has no idea what Vatheon is, or who anyone in this house is. As far as he knows, he was in his bunk at the church last, Yukio sleeping peacefully near by, and dad somewhere down the hall. So this new room, new surroundings, are all together frightening and confusing.]Yuki... ? ... tou-san? ... TOU-SAN?! YUKIO?( Action for around the bubble )
((ooc: replies will come from hellspawned )) |
|
| [The face of a boy about 7 years old appears on the SFC; the blond hairstyle and clear blue eyes make him pretty recognizable-- at least to others. He's still in his pajamas, the T-shirt now especially oversized, but his pants at least have a drawstring! Roxas himself looks lost and confused, but not really frightened.]
Is this a walky-talky? Hello?
[He frowns a little at the unfamiliar sound of his own voice and tries clearing his throat to no avail.]
I think I'm on another world. There's all these tall buildings out the window. Riku, are you here, too?
[Another pause as he notices his bangs and pulls them farther down in front of his eyes.]
Someone did something funny to my hair...
((Roxas has been a victim of the mental change as well... which means he has the memories of a seven-year-old Sora. Oops.)) |
