Residents of Vatheon, if I could have your attention for a moment please.

While I was up at the island today during the kite flying event, a companion and myself stumbled across a disturbing sight. I'll try to spare gory details and disgusting images, but what I'm about to say is not for the weak of stomach regardless, so I apologize in advance for it.

It appears as if some one has killed and taken apart a deer, and left it strung up in one of the trees.

This event likely happened several days ago from the condition the remains were in.

[Hubert pauses her, and pushes his glasses up.]

Now, even as a member of the Defense Force, this is not something I can really do anything about since the deed is done and the action wasn't taken against a resident, but I do encourage anyone who comes across anything else strange like this to at least report it to some one on the Defense Force. I hope we can prevent any more... startling discoveries such as this one in the future.

I was taking a guess, but I don't suppose we can do anything to people who kill animals on the island, can we? Or at least to people who leave such a mess for innocent passerby to stumble upon.

[ Thud

-- goes the SFC device and following it is a small, black and fuzzy mass. The camera spins a little on its side before focusing (sideways) on said black and fuzzy mass slowly start to move. Two paws stretch out and it yawns loudly, ears pulling back.

Oh, it's a cat. An odd one at that, judging by the two small horns on its head.]

Ugh, I feel like I've been in a coma... [And it just talked too.

Oblivious to the SFC recording the odd cat walks back over to the bed he fell out of and reaches up with a paw to drag a pillow off and onto the floor.

So that he may crawl back on top of it and curl up for another nap. What a cat.]

[Looks like Joshua's up in a tree somewhere. There's a thoughtful expression on his face.]

How much of that is true, do you think, Vatheon? Do you think it's through choice or nature for one to be considered "good" or "evil?" Or do they even exist at all in a pure state?

I confess that I might be looking for a debate on the subject, but it's also out of curiosity.

[ The video clicks on to reveal Barry leaning back in a chair with what looks to be a chocolate covered scorpion in his hand. ]

I should really thank whoever brought me these as gifts. It was quite thoughtful of you.

[ Barry turns the scorpion in his hands a few times before bringing it forward to bite a part of it. ]

They're quite delicious, though the shape isn't very appropriate for Valentines.

[ Barry smiles slowly as he knows full well who had given him the chocolates. Johnny's scent was all over the packaging. ]

I'm really quite flattered, especially when chocolate made with chili pepper and scorpions are both excellent aphrodisiacs. Addy I'm touched~

[the device has been simple enough for Kaworu to figure out. he's laying on his back on a couch somewhere, his silver hair splayed messily, and he's smiling at the device that he's holding out straight ahead, both of his arms fully extended.]

This place is very strange.

It's amusing enough, but I wonder—are people's dreams here always broadcasted like that? It makes for an interesting first impression, to bare the psyche unwittingly like that. It's almost... intimate. Right? Isn't it? Does it feel violating, for someone having seen your dreams?
