| [When his SFC turns on, the most obvious thing that is noticable is the fact that Tidus looks like he's been crying. The second thing is that he's in an odd pose for someone who's alone. It almost looks like as if he's holding someone. Only, no one's there. Slowly, so reluctant that it looks almost physcially painful, he lets his hands drop and stands up so that everyone gets a nice view of the floor and his shoes. He walks a few steps, jerking the communicator back up. He smirks, but it's forced, a little twisted from normal, nothing reflected in dull eyes.]
Show me whatever you want. It's not real. This is going to go away, just like everything else. We should--
[He pauses, not paying any attention to his SFC. It's hard to see, but he tilts his head back just slightly, tensing up.]
You're no more real than anything else.
[He smiles, looking between wanting to beat something up and collapse into a crying heap. Each word is spoken slowly, through a tightly clenched jaw.]
And why is that?
[Curling and uncurling his fist a few times, he drops his SFC and suddenly rushes at a wall. There's no one there, but it looks like he's using some amount of strength to lift someone up. He hisses out each word, every bit of hatred he feels but never shows heard at once.]
Then there's no reason for me to not kill you now!
[And now he's...gone beserk and starts beating up air.] |

| [Filtered from Roxas]Okay, before we get hit by another curse, or something bad happens, let's do something fun have Roxas' birthday party. It starts today, around the evening up on the Island. Just look for all the lights and glowsticks. Everyone's invited, so let's see a lot of people there! Just remember: it's supposed to be a surprise to him. [/Filter] [Filtered to Roxas] Wanna hang out today up at the Island? I have some stuff to do, but I'll be free in the evening. [/Filter] [ooc: the party log can be found here!] |
|
| Kweh!
[There's a chocobo on the screen, once he managed to accidentally get his SFC working. Nudging it a few times, he takes a step back, bouncing in the air and flapping his wings.]
Kweh! Kweh!
[Bored with that, he manages to hang onto the SFC with his mouth. The view is hard to follow, but it looks like he's ramming himself into a door to try and leave the apartment. Tidus' door to be more precise.]
[He's going to keep doing that for a while.] |
|
| Rin, I need to ask you for a favor.
[Locked from Roxas.]
I know it's late, but Roxas' birthday is still important and I wanted to throw him a party. He deserves it. So I was wondering, what kind of things do you think he'd be into, and for a general idea how many people should I anticipate being interested? |
|
| Okay, what the HELL is going on here, and whose ass do I have to beat the crap out of to fix it?! *Anyone who knows Tidus, at all, will probably figure out that this isn't Tidus' normal tone of voice instantly. Anyone who knows Rita Mordio well, on the other hand, might recognize that this is what happens when she gets angry.* |
|
| [The picture starts out wobbly, and doesn't really change. The reason for that is quickly made clear, since Tidus can be seen about to leave the medical clinic. He's holding his SFC with his left hand, his right arm in a cast, and a very new one at that. His expression is twisted into a glare, void of any of his normal cheerfulness, or any emotion other than pure hatred. He's storming out against any better judgment, heading for one place. He had been helpless in everything else, but this is something he is more than capable of, and he'll prove it. Besides, he has to do something to take his mind off of everything.]
I don't care what they say, I'm swimming. |
|
| [People who know Alister might recognize the figure Tidus sitting by. It doesn't look as if he's slept in at least a day, and he hasn't. In fact, his eyes don't even lock on the SFC once before he switches it to text.]I found Alister about a day ago. He's passed out, and hasn't responded since. I don't know what's wrong. But with the power outage earlier, I can't help but think something else might happen, so I thought his friends should [ know.] |
|
| [At first all the screen shows is darkness until something sparks and pops somewhere presumably off-screen. For a split second, Kimblee actually looks surprised, but not for the reasons those who know him would think.]
...Well, that was rude. I was starting to enjoy that film.
[There's some fumbling before he enables the backlight to the SFC and shines it around the living room, and the television. Whatever happened to it when the power went out, it sure doesn't look like it's going to work when it comes back on.
Especially since it seems to be... smoking?]
Oh dear... That's not good now, is it? No, of course not. [He's mostly just talking to himself at the moment.
And then he starts tapping the SFC]
Mustang, two things;
One, I believe we'll need a new television. Two, I don't suppose we have any kerosene lanterns or some candles hidden somewhere in the house?
Right. Apologies, it slipped my mind. [Not really.]
To everyone else in the city, is this one of those infamous curses I've heard about, or just a power shortage? I'm leaning towards the latter but one can't be too sure with how this world works.
Anyway. Roy, as I was saying, I think we'll need a new television. |
|
| [Someone finally caved and found an apartment. Holding the SFC, Tidus smiles a little distractedly.]
Check out my new place. I was getting bored with sleeping wherever I was. I don’t feel any different or more mature than I did before, at least not just in one day. I don’t think I would have felt any different if I hadn’t ended up in Spira…but I think that’s normal. Maybe. I’m not sure if it even counts.
[He shrugs.] It's an excuse to eat cake, so whatever.
[And he eats that piece of cake, talking between bites.]
What are your favorite things to do when you have time on your hands? |

| Good evening, Vatheonites. After fussing with this... device I believe I've finally figured most of it out. Now, I understand there news of bombs within the city has been brought to public knowledge and I can only assume some people are worried--understandable, of course! An acquaintance and I recently came across one that the young man mentioned in his earlier broadcast in the plaza. The bomb is in our custody and I'll be taking some time to look it over. I feel I should add that there is nothing to worry about with this one as I've had years of experience with explosives. It's been some time since I've been able to really indulge myself with this sort of thing so it's a bit thrilling!
If anyone happens to come across the others hidden in the city, please let me know the location and whether or not it's detonated or not. Do take care of yourselves and enjoy the Olympics!
Oh, and Miss Hawkeye? While I still have this open, please try to keep Mustang on his leash for the time being. I'd hate to see him stumble across one of these lovely little things by mistake. |
