[The first thing Spy notices is that he is wet, he and his incredibly expensive silk suit are wet. The realisation that he is under the ocean in some sort of bubble comes shortly after this. Curious, it bears no  resemblance to any base he has ever been on. Even more curious.

It takes him a while, but he eventually figures out the function of his little starfish thing. Contacting others seems to be it's inherent purpose and while it's unprofessional of a Spy to utilise such personal technology, he feels he has little choice in the matter.

When the video feed switches on he clears his throat, becoming the very definition of calm as he speaks.]

[When the feed turns on, the video shows a soaked, annoyed Rinoa. She looks something akin to a half-drowned, blue rat as she pushes back her hair. Her attempts only lead it to fall back into place, so she frowns as she grabs it and wrings it out to the side.]

[As the water drains from her strands, her eyes dart back to the device. Now it has her full attention.]

I'm not really sure what to make of all of this. I can't decide if this is a bad prank or if the Sorceress did something to us. Who'd have thought that she'd send us to an underwater city... place in retribution? I mean, who does that?

Right. [With her hair sufficiently wrung, she tosses it over her shoulder.] My name's Rinoa. I was with my friends when we attacked a certain sorceress. I thought we had won, but... I think I fell over or something. Then I woke up here. So if anyone has seen or heard of Squall, Zell, Irvine, Quistis, or Selphie, could you maybe let me know? I'd appreciate it.

[She pauses, her brow puckered before she decides to add something.] If mentioned friends are here... would you guys meet me by this fountain thing and tell me what's going on?

[Finding herself here again wasn't something that made Maka particularly happy; she wasn't angry, just...unhappy. Why was this place always pulling her away right when she's so close to seeing Crona again? Not only that, she's been separated from Soul again...

Still, rather than make a fuss, Maka takes a towel from the nearest vendor and settles herself on the fountain to dry off as she prepares to send a message to the network she's so familiar with. When the feed turns on, she has the towel securely around her shoulders and a fairly gloomy expression on her face.]

Scythe Meister Maka Albarn here...again. I guess I should start with asking who from the Death Weapon Meister Academy is still around. How long has it been since I left? Is everyone doing all right?

Hello, Vatheon. I apologize for the sudden announcement; especially since there are likely many newcomers around at the moment, but I ask you all to bear with me. There is reason to believe that there may be something dangerous happening in the city sometime soon. This post is for organizational purposes. I would ask that all speculation and general information still be directed to this post.

Firstly, all of you that are comfortable with your combat skills, I urge you to report to Minato Arisato of the defense force. A disorganized defense is extremely ineffective. Those of you who feel that they cannot fight, please evacuate to the area around the clinic in the event of an attack.

[Zelda holds up a neatly drawn map with optimal routes to the clinic laid out from various locations in Vatheon.]

The clinic and the building right next to it will both have a protective barrier around them. Everyone currently registered as being a foreigner will have no difficulty passing. Do not worry overly much about the registration process, it is automatic. The barrier is of a neutral element and will not cause harm to anyone who takes shelter within it.

Which brings us to the second point. Anyone who considers their primary skill to be either healing - magical or traditional - or barrier magic, please report to myself or Doctor Muraki. I may need help maintaining the barrier, and we are low on healers.

Finally, anyone who considers themselves to be skilled with technology and who has some free time, please contact me privately.

 I hope that this would not be a bother but I am curious.

Is anyone interested in sparring with me? The only requirement is if they can handle short distance fighting.

I believe we should focus on the more important matter here. I have seen discussions scattered throughout the network, but it would be best to have all our thoughts and speculations focused in one place on both the destruction of those so-called faeries and on the recent appearance of that Carol individual.

For those of you who are oblivious and prone to missing the obvious, things are changing in this place. It would be best to be prepared.
