I believe we should focus on the more important matter here. I have seen discussions scattered throughout the network, but it would be best to have all our thoughts and speculations focused in one place on both the destruction of those so-called faeries and on the recent appearance of that Carol individual.

For those of you who are oblivious and prone to missing the obvious, things are changing in this place. It would be best to be prepared.

It was nice to have them communicate with us for once, wasn't it? But it seemed like they sent someone fairly low-ranking. There is almost certainly trouble with the administration, here.

The fact that they sent someone of low rank could mean quite a few things. For all we know, perhaps they mean to use her as a scapegoat in case things go wrong.

Carol had informed me of the "clinic getting busy" sometime in the future though what this means exactly is beyond me. An attack on the city? An epidemic? At any rate, would it be too much to request a few volunteers should it come to this? I find Doctor Stein, the Medic and myself too few a number to deal with a sudden influx of patients.

As for the second matter, I'm afraid I can't say much about Alpha. He mostly kept to himself as I kept to my end of the clinic. We rarely spoke, truth be told. However, there was that one day he failed to show up for work. It was... May of last year, I believe?

That is an entirely understandable request. If anyone with skills which could be geared towards that sort of area, I shall be sure to redirect them your way. [A brief pause.] I'm not an expert when it comes to human biology, but I do know that of a troll's, and that of a variety of animals. I am certain I could catch on quickly to the more complicated aspects of it. If assistance is needed, I will see what I can do.

The devices explode. Almost immediately soon afterwards, we are finally contacted by one of the individuals who seems to be one of those who has been observing us. She outright stated in her conversation with Karkat Vantas that the devices were used to observe us.

Regardless if they are connected or not, the foreigners to this place have been far too complacent here. We lack knowledge, and that could get us killed.

She could be lying, but it would certainly explain their purpose well enough, especially since no one could capture them.

For example, building an elevator up to the surface sounds considerably more mundane than a pirate ship somehow crashing through the bubble and splitting the Lamufao coral into two. However, considering the events which have happened since our access to the island, could you say it has not changed things at all? Assuming you've been here long enough, of course.
