[ Have a very concerned, very uncomfortable Link. Here he stands, outside of his house holding what looks like many envelopes and folded papers (some shaped like airplanes). ]

So, um...

[ A sheepish smile forms on his face as he holds an armful of papers. It's clear that he has been quite busy writing on them and... Tossing them in the open window above. ]

She got on me all the time for being so lazy, but it seems the shoe's on the other foot this time. This is, what, twice now?

[ He tosses an envelope through the window. ]

I've written twenty letters hoping they would at least make noise-- Worked... For me all the time, hah.

[ He sighs, a concerned moan following. ]

I'm not sure how else to wake her... I can't just sneak in her room...

[Yup, like a good chunk of Vatheon, Link seems to have found something that doesn't belong to him. He's holding up a blue cat-shaped hat, looking at least a little amused by it.]

[Also, note the lack of his own hat. ~~Note also the fact that he really should comb his hair more...~~]

This isn't mine - I guess people keep getting other people's stuff, huh? Does that mean whoever's hat this is has my one?

[He's about to end the feed, then pauses.] Oh - right! I set up an archery course in the forest down here. It's best if you're riding, but you can do it just if you're walking! There's targets all over the place - it's pretty fun.

[Giving the camera a grin, he ends the feed there.]

((OOC: Backdated to morning of the 16th. Will be slow, fifteen-hour flight tomorrow night... Also, the archery course in question is full of targets, both stationary and dangling from ropes, amidst the trees. If you've seen Brave, it's similar to Merida's course.))

[Backdated to Saturday 17th, day after the animal break]

Look what I found!

[That sure is a guinea pig Link's holding up to the SFC. The guinea pig, to its credit, seems pretty chill - it twitches its nose at being picked up, but is otherwise rather relaxed. Link sets him down again in his lap, readjusting the SFC a little.]

I found him in my closet this morning. But I don't know what he is or what he eats or anything, and I think he's hungry.

[These are the eyes of a sad, hungry guinea pig who's just spent the night in a closet. Someone help?]

If anyone knows anything about them, let me know!

[Action]

[A short while after that broadcast, Link can be found in the kitchen, offering the guinea pig different treats to try and see what actually... works. Said guinea pig is happily chilling on the table on a tea towel, watching Link in something that could possibly be bemusement.]

[Tifa appears on the video, looking pretty relaxed. With the lack of insanity lately, she's had time to sort a few things out.]

All the animals running around the other day reminded me -- I heard we have some chocobos here in Vatheon.

Is there anyone who wouldn't mind letting me ride theirs from time to time? It's something I really enjoyed back home. The weather's not bad for it right now either.

Hi, everyone! I'm sure some of you already know, but that Thanksgiving Holiday is coming up again! I know there are a lot of people here who already have plans, but I got to thinking, and, well ... I know there are some people here who don't really have anywhere to go for the holidays.

So! Who doesn't have anywhere to go? Or, who doesn't have any plans already?

I was thinking maybe those of us who want to can set up a Thanksgiving potluck somewhere in the city, so that people who don't exactly have a place to go and want to celebrate their holiday with somebody can still come by, have some food, socialize with people ... that sort of thing. It's never fun to be alone on a holiday that's all about togetherness, after all.

That said ... any takers? Does anybody like this idea at all? If we all work together on the food and festivities, I think we could really make the holiday special for everybody!

[ She's obviously quite excited about the idea, herself. She'd probably do all the cooking and plan everything herself even if there wasn't a lot of interest. ]

[The video feed comes on, showing a bleary, teenage face caught in the middle of a yawn. Face already half-buried in a pillow, the most immediately distinguishing feature to be seen is a serious case of bedhead, brown hair sticking wildly every which way. It's almost a whole minute before Lloyd seems to become aware enough to realize the SFC is on. Even then he just stares at it sleepily.

Until something on the screen registers. Eyes widening, he jerks a hand up to reach for the SFC.]

Wait, when did it become Monday?

[When the SFC turns on, it's pointed towards the ocean, and it stays there for a few moments, just recording the waves rolling in and out, the soft sounds of the water, the occasional cry of a seabird. Then someone clears their throat, and starts speaking quietly. Those who have heard him speak before will recognize Sufferer's voice.]

I've been thinking about time lately, and how its path is not linear and seems to follow no set pattern. Sometimes, when there's a moment you want to cling to with everything you have, it flickers past, here and then gone; and then when there's something you want to rush through, it lingers, and minutes become hours, and hours days, days weeks, and so on.

The only thing consistent about time is that it passes.

Until it doesn't.

[There's a sigh, and the SFC turns so it's pointing towards Sufferer's face. He looks tired, like he does most of the time now, the bags under his eyes staining his skin like bruises. The flesh on his face hangs off the bones, deep lines that were never there before framing either side of his mouth.]

[He still has the orange stitches on his cloak, though.]

I've died, twice. Once here, where I revived five days later, and once in my own world, where I woke up here. In one instance, the time between passed quickly, full of light and love and beauty, and in the other, it lasted for lifetimes, lifetimes in the darkness, in the spaces between the stars.

[He shrugs.]

So tell me, Vatheon... which one was the true death? Which one showed me the truth about time, and which was the lie?

[He'd been meaning to do this for a while, but with all that's happened.... Now seems like a good enough time to him. Who knows, maybe it'll cheer someone up. ...Actually, he kinda doubts it'd cheer someone up, but oh well. Too late to go back, really.]

I caught a badger. [He bites his tongue to keep from continuing - Want to let it go on the village green/plaza and watch the girls run? Sure he's used to being away from the other two, but...they'd actually all been here for a little while, the first time in about two years. Sure he'd seen Perrin before he arrived - Light, he'd even said the same thing he's saying now! - but it wasn't the same, really.

Right, he hadn't even told anyone they'd left...]

....And Rand and Perrin went back to our world a bit ago.
