There's a problem in this town, Vatheon. So many lonely hunnies, just wanting someone to talk to, to share some companionship with - and I know what you've all heard about me but I really do mean companionship here, not the other thing (so Ky don't jump down my throat). I heard tell that there used to be a host club here in Vatheon and I think it's high time it was revived! So here's an open call for any interested parties who want to provide a vital service to the community ♥

We'll be holding open interviews and auditions for the next two weeks in the ballroom of the casino. We'll be looking at all your talents as well as general amiability and charisma, so bring your A-game~

[Ky's hand brushes the tattoo above his left eyebrow. There's nothing there to feel, but that hasn't stopped him from trying to. He feels substantially less in control than he did the last few times he's addressed Vatheon. Perhaps because he is.

He's discovered that he can make himself still look human, can make the tattoos fade with a concentrated thought, make his eyes look normal, but that hasn't change the hunger he feels. If he is a monster, then better that he looks it, even if it adds to the uneasiness that he feels in his own skin.]

It might be a good idea to get a list of those of us that believe we might be a danger to others. As much as I would like to simply stay in my apartment for the duration of this curse, that's not possible.

[In fact, he's not there now. He'd hoped that touching the coral would somehow help, but it hadn't. Now he's trying to put off going to the clinic and asking for blood to...eat.

He pauses for a moment, then adds something that he hopes doesn't reflect reality, but should be voiced now anyway. He considers filtering it to the Defense Force, but this is sort of all of Vatheon's business, and the people who were fighters before might not be now.]

As well, we should be careful of the not necessarily dismissible possibility that this sort of thing is the opportunity a hostile force has been waiting for.

[With that he's done, letting his eyes fall shut for a moment as he finishes up the transmission.]

((ooc: Ky is a djinn from Supernatural, which means he has a sort of touch telepathy that will result in the character he touches going into a coma and hallucinating waking up in a world where their greatest wish has been fulfilled. They will remember all aspects of their current life, and time will seem to pass for them much faster than it actually is passing. So that's the optional action part, and Ky's instincts will probably take over to have him reach out if your character gets close to him.))

... Except, nope. You're going to witness the sight of one of these strange monsters that are popping up to certain people. A ghost-like creature with an incredibly upset expression is staring straight at you, floating in mid-air. Hanako's voice is the background of this video, reclutant to speak. ]

Um... I have learned about these... "curses" that occur to the guests here once in a while. I'm not sure how this creature entered my house, but it's doing nothing but follow me around.

[ Though she's trying to sound calm, she's been freaking out quite a bit for the whole morning. And it won't go away, no matter the many attempts to shoo it out of her apartment. ]

According to what I have seen on the network lately... [ Yep, she's a great lurker. ] ... Is it safe to assume that I've been cursed?

[Dear lord, look at all of these people becoming trolls! And there's another one, but at least this one's not joining the seadweller group. Nope, she's a little bit lower, more jade if you will. Anyways, she's also been a little bit low key lately, which is dumb because she actually kind of likes talking to people. It's not her fault, though, she's just ... being herself basically.

Not to mention she's been asleep for a while, that's always a fun thing to realize!! Not only that but she's also a little bit miffed that this symbol (the one on her top obviously) is following her, and her hair didn't even stay blond. She liked it like that and was keeping that up for a reason! :C. Gosh. So to tell the truth she's incredibly frustrated with this bubble and all of its hi-jinx. Aint funny, yo.

So now she's on the SFC, looking all in her glorified troll glory. She stares at it for a moment, just to make sure it's working, and then... ]

Alright, I wanna know what's goin' on with me. I know that someone's got answers, and I want them now. This place is just so freaky sometimes, and this is really no exception. You know, I can take being asleep for a long period of time just fine, but then this happens!

[Oops, she's baring her fangs a little, she's not meaning to! Just. It's happening. She then points at herself in her general direction, just to show that ALL OF HER HAS CHANGED.]

I've been turned into one of those... weird horned grey things, and I'm not happy about that. I want to change back now.

[And without wasting time at all, she's going to cut the feed and calm herself down!!]

[So, there's a vampire lounging on his couch, not really looking all that bothered.]

Hmmm...looks like the coral is at it again. At least some people seem to be having fun with their new powers, yes~?

[He waves as if to say good-bye when a roaring sound comes from off camera along with the sound of crackling.] Aayeyaaah!! [The SFC is dropped as Johnny bolts off the couch to attend to save the poor chair he has just set on fire.]

[The SFC turns on, and it shows Jacob sitting quietly in the middle of his cabin, his black chocobo beside him. For some reason, she seems nervous, and keeps trying to jump up and run around, but every time she's stopped by his hand on her head and she calms down. The man himself seems to be staring off into the distance, not quite looking at the camera at all.]

If a person is made to change into something different...does this change them who they are as a person?

[There's an intake of breath from him, and then suddenly, without warning, the candles around the cabin go out, one by one, even though Jacob doesn't move a muscle. The man continues to speak as if nothing is happening.]

It's odd, really. You don't think that it would, but suddenly, you're seeing the world so differently, through someone else's eyes...

[It's now pitch dark. The chocobo lets out a nervous cry, and then the candles blaze ferociously on and off, showing the shadows of what seem to be two large wings coming out of Jacob's back.]

[And then the whole sight is gone as fast as it was shown. Jacob continues to sit, but this time he looks at his hands, as if making sure they're real. His chocobo, way too nervous by the affair, walks off screen, and Jacob doesn't stop her. When he speaks again, he actually sounds a bit uncertain, which is not a tone you hear Jacob use very often.]

I think...I think I'm an angel now. It's very strange. I'm me. But I'm not me.

I'm just something else now.
