[It looks like the Strider residence has adopted a new bird into their family. A cockatiel is resting on Davesprite's shoulder, looking very pleased with itself.]

I found him in my room flying about like a little asshole. I can only guess that it was either Dirk or Bro who was the culprit in this case. Whichever one of you did it, fuck you, too.

[He doesn't really seem terribly angry about it, just slightly annoyed as he rubs the bird's beak.]

Anyway, his name's Pájaro. He likes listening to Spanish and his favorite treat is a green grape, but he'll go for a red one if it's offered. His favorite song is the Tetris theme. Oh, and someone taught him to bite if anyone says kiss twice. So don't do it.

[In this video, there is a lot of smoke clogging up the view. A smoke detector is going off as well, so there is an annoying beeping throughout the video, or at least until someone goes to turn it off. But even after the person in the video- who looks like Leo, by the way, but is definitely acting different than Leo normally does- also goes and opens a window to let the smoke out of the room.

After taking care of those few tasks, the person in Leo's body finally turns their attention to the SFC.]

Okay, Leo? I could really really REALLY use some help right about now.

[As not!Leo says that, a towel in the background spontaneously catches on fire. Then not!Leo lets out a very unmanly scream as they turn to go put out the fire, knocking over the SFC and turning it off in the process.]

 So you know how a whole bunch of you guys were acting all batshit and weird last week? Probably under a curse or something. Whatever, I don't give a shit.

[ He smirks and fans himself with what appears to be a stack of photos. ]

And you know how a bunch of you were wearing weirdass outfits and and tights even tighter then anything I'm comfortable wearing?  Bet you all'd like to forget that shit ever happened.  Well sucks to be you cause I spent the week collecting mother fucking photographic evidence.  See?

[ He holds a handful of photos up, grinning like an idiot. ]

I'm willing to sell 'em too if you wanna destroy the evidence once and for all or if you want someone else's so you can mock them forever or whatever.  Who's the super villain now, huh?

[ The feed going dead cuts off the last half of his accompanying cackle. ]

[ Annabeth doesn't usually cry as a rule. Demigods don't have easy lives and most emotions can be rationalised away with the motivation of 'getting on with things'. But for some reason, this time whenever she thinks she's stopped crying somehow more tears come. It's not just that he's gone... it's also what he's gone back to.


She sits and stares at the jellies outside the bubble until she's sure she can make this video post without crying. Drawing her coat more tightly around her - Hades, it's cold lately! - she shivers and turns on her SFC for the first time since Percy had left. ]

So, I don't know how many of you knew Percy Jackson, my boyfriend, but he's gone. Just thought I'd do the courteous thing and let everyone know. [ She wipes quickly at one eye but manages to hold off tears. ]

Okay, it might just be me, but doesn't anyone else think it's strange that all these hats are sticking on people's heads? I'm pretty sure it's another curse, but 'oh look you have a hat stuck on your head' just seems a little...I dunno, weak?

[Davesprite looks like he just woke up. Amazing that he feels more tired after sleeping for three straight weeks. Note to self: try to avoid that in the future.]

I'd say this is for the sake of science or something along those lines, but since it's truth week, I doubt it'd let me say that. So, I'm just going to say that this is me exploiting the hell out of this curse by asking this question publicly.

[Once again, Leo's face appears on the screen, his eyes looking full of energy as always. He's tapping his fingers on the desk in front of him, tapping out the alphabet in morse code.]

Hey everyone, Leo here. So, uh... [He scratches his head with his other hand, trying to think how to explain his idea.] I noticed that there's not really any sort of protection put on these like cellphones back home to keep you from butt-dialing people. It's bad enough that the curse is making people tell others things they don't want to... [A pained look.] Can't do anything about the curse, but I thought it might be a good time to do something that might help against those accidents.

I made an application that I can program onto your starfish communicators that will give you a sort of lock on your device. Unlocking won't automatically post anything, you'll have to get at that the same way you do now. Locking it will keep you from accidentally calling anyone or making a video that everyone on the network can see when you're not intending to.

If you want to meet me to get it, I'll be out in the park the next few afternoons. If you're busy while I'm there, but want it, just let me know and we can work something out. I'm asking for 5 starfish coins in exchange for the installation. All things considered, it's a really good deal. [With that, the recording ends.]
