| [ Hello Vatheon. The SFC bounces to the ground and look! Its a somewhat vaguely familiar rather tall redhead.
Taking a nap on the coral.
All normal, right? Totally. Nice coat, simple shirt, dark pants...
All with a suspicious amount of red stain along his left side.
Totally all normal.
Bother him? ] |

| [Since he's been told that reading a good book would help him find his way in life....]
What is your favourite book? Have you read any books that changed your life? Or... how did you find your direction in life?

| [ Yuri's smiling as the video feed turns on today. She holds up the chocolate heart she received ... the ... anatomically correct one, and shakes it a little at the feed to emphasize what she was about to talk about. ]
Hey! Whoever knew I needed some chocolate in my life, thank you!
[ Nope, not disturbed at all by the shape of it. OKAY, maybe a little. But she's not showing it. Nope! Not gonna be ungrateful for the lovely gift! ]
Ah, and I just realized, I haven't exactly introduced myself to the masses yet ...
[ She puts down the chocolate and waves at the feed again. ]
I'm Yuri. Yuri Egin. I arrived here a couple of months ago, but ... well. Things are a little complicated. I may have made things a little awkward, you see.
[ She laughs a little, sheepishly. ]
My sons are here. They didn't exactly know who I was until recently.
[ She brightens up. ]
But now I'm settling into things a little more, I'm finding a few people I knew already, and the awkwardness between my boys and I [ or, just Rin, rather ... ] is getting a little better, so I figured it might be time to make a formal introduction and meet someone new. |

| [For a long while there's nothing but silence on the other end of this voice feed. Then Rolo whispers softly...]
... he's gone...
What... am I supposed to do without him?
[For he is now completely lost without his older brother. He does want to be free but for one who's obeyed orders all his life... Free will is rather frightening now that he has it.]
You said my future was with you but now you're gone, what am I to do? ... nii-san...

| [the device has been simple enough for Kaworu to figure out. he's laying on his back on a couch somewhere, his silver hair splayed messily, and he's smiling at the device that he's holding out straight ahead, both of his arms fully extended.]
This place is very strange.
It's amusing enough, but I wonder—are people's dreams here always broadcasted like that? It makes for an interesting first impression, to bare the psyche unwittingly like that. It's almost... intimate. Right? Isn't it? Does it feel violating, for someone having seen your dreams? |

| [When Asuka saw the new buttons on her SFC, she didn't think much of them. Sure, she didn't remember them being there before, but what would really happen from pressing a button? Which is why she pushed one - and subsequently wound up asleep.]
[The dream starts with a view of Asuka inside some sort of cockpit. A few might recognize the strange red garment she wears from the day she showed up. Her face shows a smirk that matches the confidence in her voice as she speaks.]Full power, maximum speed from the start, got it? [A boy of the same age range answers over some internal communications system, face unseen.]I know that. We'll finish in sixty-two seconds. ( GIANT DANCING MECHA )(OOC: This dream is non-interactive, so responses should come via the network. It's safer for your character that way, trust me. Also, I seriously recommend watching the video in the "music" link above! I tried to describe the battle as best as I could, but the sequence itself shows it best.) |

| [Even though this feed is coming from one Rin Okumura's SFC, it seems to be focused on Death the Kid, leaning against a low wall outside the Villa. He's looking right, silently, at something off camera, intently focused on it. There's a good two minutes of nothing before he speaks.]This really is a terrible idea... [There's no actual response, verbally at least, but what does happen is... interesting to say the least. A blur of... mostly varying hues of blue goes zooming by at an impressive speed. Impressive if only because the person going by appears to be on a rolling office chair. Not something one would equate to speed. But Rin has got it going pretty damn fast because he's actually using his flames to propel himself across the stone entryway of the Villa like a rocket.
And it seems to be working pretty well. He's crouched on the seat, almost like a surfer, palms out and blasting his blue fire down at the ground, and so far appears to be maintaining decent balance. He even manages to zip back around with a gentle coaxing of his flames to the right, guiding the normally unwieldy chair in to a nice turn. He lets out a very loud whoop as he goes zooming by Kid even faster, prompting the reaper to just roll his gold eyes and suddenly walk off.
Rin doesn't notice he's gone, and makes a few more laps (with varying cries of victory) before Kid returns, a bag of ice and first aid kit in either hand.
He knows where this is going.
And true to his silent prediction, Rin decides to pick up a little more speed the next time around by increasing the intensity of his flames, and just as he gets past where the SFC can view, there's a very loud CRASH!
Kid moves off his perch and follows the path Rin took.]I warned you, Rin. Owwww...((ooc: Death the Kid symmetrophile used with permission from Dawn. Replies will probably come from both Kid and Rin.)) |

| So, what just happened was a case of this places curse, am I right?
[Minako hadn't been effected, she just happened to somewhat watch people being children and cute.]
Are curses always this cute as to make people children? Do you suppose there's one that might do something as nutty as make people fly? I'm kind of curious as to how this works.
[It's quiet for a moment as the sound of chewing is going on, it appears Minako is eating and talking at the same time.]
Though I must admit I would of have loved to be a little kid again. Being as cute and adorable as I was, but I don't think the world here is ready for that. So you just have to be happy with me for the meantime. [Another bite of something crunchy before it goes quiet.]

[There's a tiny boy standing here, completely soaked. In one hand, he holds a gun and he looks up with pleading violet eyes. He looks rather frightened. This isn't the place he was supposed to go. He has to complete his mission and kill his mark but... he can't find his mark anywhere... They'll punish him for sure if he goes back like that. This is his first mission. He can't fail it.]I-I'm sorry... I can't find him. I can't find my target. Please don't punish me. I'll be a good boy... ((Replies will be made with littlescorpion)) |

| [Electricity crackles across the screen -- no, wait, the electricity is actually flowing around the twelve-year-old boy standing some distance away. This may be the first time most of Vatheon has seen Ky out of his uniform. It's sitting neatly folded on the desk. Ky isn't sure why he woke up in it, but he knows he hasn't earned it yet.
He frowns and shuts his eyes in concentration, muttering under his breath.]
Come on...
[The electricity concentrates around his hands, and he opens his eyes and starts to smile before it goes shooting out, some towards the ceiling but most disappearing into the air. There's a reason he picked as empty of a space to practice in as he could.
He closes his eyes to try to concentrate again, but gets only a very weak crackle that soon fizzles out for his efforts.]
I'll have to try again later.
[He pads over to study the SFC, obvious confusion on his face at the fact that it's on. He's only used it for texts, and he doesn't seem to have an incoming message.]
What are you doing now? |
