That's it, I can't take this anymore, if I don't find something to do I'll go insane!

Do any of you need someone to do work - any kind of work? I'll do anything! Just walking around, eating free food anymore all day, feeling like some big fat lord - me! It just isn't right!

[He flops back down on the sofa and sighs ever so heartily.]

Ahh, and I thought that this was all I ever wanted in the world...

[With an awkward chuckle, Hideyoshi stops waving the camera around and actually looks a it, which reveals that he... isn't what you'd call good-looking. Try goofy, and that's being kind.]

[That said, he will grab something that was previously off-screen. It looks like a very rudimentary spear that he made himself, with a wood pole and a sharpened stone head.]

Gorthan! Hideyoshi visibly brightens at the sight of the Evronian. Now here is someone with a knack for making things interesting.] Just the guy I - wait, what?

[He eyes the weapon, face growing somewhat more serious, if just somewhat.] Are you? Well. That's flattering.

Are you implying you don't want to do it? Hm. It is the only activity I can suggest for now.

[He looks at the spearhead he's made as he speaks. ... Maybe it could use some extra work, but it should be fine for a practice battle.]

As warriors, I believe it would benefit both of us. We cannot allow ourselves to grow idle and weak. Our people deserve better.

Oh, no, no no no, [he quickly waves both hands up.] You're absolutely right! I only think you, uh, might be a bit much for me. I am just human, after all. [And not a very durable human, either.

He thinks for a moment, though, warming up to the idea.] I'm going to need a staff...

[He leisurely slides a finger along the edge, to show that it's pretty much blunt.]

I suggest you refrain from bluffing. Your words of self-belittling will not distort my perception of your strength. And even besides that, you have the advantage of a younger age.

Got dropped off without it, I'm afraid. But any old stick with decent balance will do!

[The spear does look relatively harmless. He doesn't know why he's looking for the catch, except that there has to be one. Perception of strength indeed. People never expect much out of him in a fight.]

Hey now, I don't know what clever Evronian tricks you have up your sleeve, remember? Besides the whole, oh, conquering planets bit.
