[dream] // [video] - Dreaming of the Past; Dreaming of What Will Come to Pass

[This dream opens up in a dreary setting - a world where almost everything is grey. Everything from the buildings to the sky to the ground itself is grey. A steadly rain falls endlessly. A black cat with a white ear and wearing a collar with strange bells. The cat approaches a crevice in the ground and finds an elevator. He follows an oddly dressed person inside and rides it down into the crevice.

When the elevator door opens again, the cat is inside the crater. Buildings have been built into the sides and it's being used as a place to live by many people. The cat finds a dry place to sit and licks his paws when Cielo approaches him, sits down, and wiggles his fingers. The cat gets up and leaves, entering one of the buildings.

The scene suddenly switches to a small room with metal walls. Cielo is lying down on a bed when the cat crawls out from under it and scratches at the door. He tells the cat that they're locked in - there's a guard outside the door that's under strict orders to keep Cielo in the room for his own good. Cielo gets an idea and knocks on the door saying that there's a cat inside. The guard opens the door (because "you mean a CAT cat?") and Cielo throws the cat in his face then shoves him over, knocking him out. The cat heads off in one direction and Cielo follows him. It stops and turns to face him and...speaks?]

Your friends are in danger.

[Hearing this, Cielo transforms into his demon form and takes off, flying through the grey sky with the cat riding on his back. In the distance, what looks like a run down fairy tale castle can be seen. A huge bat demon is up ahead, carrying a black haired girl - the same one from Serph's dream, with its feet. Cielo opens his jaws and...holy shit is that a laser he's firing at the bat? The laser strikes one of the bat's wings, ripping it off completely. The cat leaps onto his head and the sky changes to a shade of yellow. The sun can be seen, but rather than its usual color, it's pitch black. Suddenly, a barrage of missiles come out of nowhere and Cielo dodges them with a series of acrobatic maneuvers. He turns around and yells at an invisible foe.]

Is that the best you can do? Come and get me!

[As brave as he sounds, it's clear that Cielo doesn't expect to come out of this scrape alive. He has no intention of running away from whoever is shooting at him and fight until he can fight no more. He roars and dodges a few more missiles, laughing as he does. One of them finally connects, however, and Cielo explodes. When the smoke clears, Cielo is perfectly fine. The cat, also unharmed, leaps off his head. In midair, the cat suddenly transforms into a...woman with half black and half white hair. Those that see her may think of Serph when they see her. There's a calm, mystical quality to this person, who floats gracefully in the air and reaches out with a hand to pet the demon's head. Cielo lets out a pleased growl at the touch.

Pet pet pet. If his demon didn't have a perpetual toothy grin, he would be smiling right now.

But the dream is now over and Cielo wakes up, sitting up and blinking.]

The hell was that?

[He grumbles a bit before lying back down. Come back, mystery woman! He wants more pets. :c However, he can't fall back asleep and he reaches over to turn th Dreamberry off]

[So Rinoa had decided to hole up someplace comfortable and kind of ride out all the bad feelings she got earlier. Not wanting to be totally disconnected from the world, she's been keeping an eye on the DreamBerry thing her SFC has turned into, and...

I told you guys before, the cat helped me. Not my fault if you didn't believe it. As for that person, I don't know. But she reminds me of Sera and Serph.

[Gale shrugs.] How you got out was of less consequence than the situation at hand. Even if you disobeyed orders, you arrived at the right time.

She has features of both. Sera is the only person of the Junkyard with black hair. ... A child has the features of its parents, does it not?

[Exactly. Cielo's not exactly proud of throwing a cat at the poor guard, but he had to get out. He hopes Gale didn't give him too hard of a time.]

But this person is an adult. You think she might be a child of Sera and Serph's who grew up?

[Well, Cielo wasn't exactly a prisoner, so it was only about normal for Gale.]

It was simply a theory. Unless you know more, I cannot say for certain.

[What's Serph talking about? ...oh, he means the part where he blows up. He doesn't even know what that part of the dream means, just like the mystery woman.]

This seems to trump everything else she sees here in this dream; even the lasers, and Cielo's demon form, which she's seen before. The woman does seem familiar though. Both of them; the one she saw in Serph's dream and the one that reminds her a bit of Serph herself.

But to answer his question though, she laughs a bit tiredly as she turns on the feed.]

It must've been a dream. Lately these new phones we got have been recording 'em.
