[ The past day or so has been busy for the Professor. Ever since the island have changed she's been awake and about studying the "new environment" on the island and gathering as much detail as possible. If you've been on the island lately you might have heard some laughing in the distance a few times. Quite possibly it could have been her.
But alas, everyone must sleep sometime and she's included. Finally deciding to take a break from her discoveries and what might call exploring she settles down in a place where she can sleep. Setting everything aside she gets comfortable unknowing what exactly what was to come in the dreams ahead. ]
... Where am I?
[ She takes a quick look around just for her to realize that she was on a boat. A small boat. One of those sail boats. Despite the weather the waves seemed to have been lashing out at the boat causing it to rock violently.
It didn't take long for Raine's phobia to take over as she quickly starts to feel seasick. She shivers as she tries to hold on to the closest thing she could find so she doesn't get knocked over the edge. Taking another look around she notices a familiar piece of land nearby.
Maybe... maybe if she can try to bring the boat over there she can get off... but there wasn't any paddles nor anything else that she could use.
Before she could proceed to think on possible ways to get to land a huge wave crashed into the boat. Stronger than all the other waves it causes the small sailboat to turn tossing the Professor into the water. Good news is that she was closer to the land. Bad news was that she wasn't close enough to reach it and began to sink despite her efforts to try to stay afloat. She never learned how to swim after all.
This time, there didn't seem to be anyone to help her... ]
[ She wakes up in a daze. Great. She was trying to take care of her phobia so she can at least travel to the bubble for places such as the library but right now the thought of doing so seems to be non-existent. She sighs. Even if the dream turns out not too bad in the end the beginning was enough. Not noticing that the Dreamberry is on she turns over as she makes an attempt to get a better sleep. ]
[ Now this was a dream that Raine enjoyed! Now she was standing in the Balacruf Mausoleum; one of the many places that the group have traveled to on their journey. They had been there in order to release a seal and later to make a pact with the Efreet so Raine never got the chance to really explore the ruins. ]
... I must examine and gather as much information while I have this chance! I will not let it go to waste!
[ And so, that is exactly what she'll be doing now in this dream.
Immediately she starts exploring the place, going on about the texture of the stones and the writing on the walls and the traps and just everything. Every now and then she'll laugh (what might sound like a mechanical laugh like she's some villain) and go on about the history of the Balacruf ruins. Then basically rinse, rise, and repeat. ]
( OOC: Both of them are interactive. Feel free to reply into one of the two dreams - specify which one - or comment on one or both dreams for after she wakes up. Just put it in the subject of what you're going to do. The 'familiar' place in the first dream is the Otherworldly Gate )

Boat dream; interact o/
And people sinking in ocean water is just too common to him.
Duke doesn't even think to treat this like a dream, he just swims after - or perhaps its controlled sinking, because fully dressed does not make for good casual floating - and catches onto the pale haired woman. One arm under hers, fingers finding cloth, and kicking toward the surface. ]

Kicking would be helpful. Provided you do not kick my shins. [ He can make it there without her helping, but it would be faster if she did. ]

Duke makes a short pleased rumble when he feels something - barely - come in contact with a boot. Ground? It better be. The water was cold. It was. Good.
He'll pull them both up a few long strides past the water, let the woman go limp into a sit, and .. more or less drop his coat across her. ]

When the man drop his coat across her she gazed at it before looking up at the male. ]
T-Thank you...

... now is there anything to make a fire out of around here, or does he have to use magic as a fuel. Ah. There might be something... ]
... A moment.

She then waits quietly once he says 'a moment' as she tries to calm herself down a little more. She's still trembling and hasn't quite noticed there they were yet other than the fact that they were on an island. ]

Duke returns and stabs the longer sticks into the ground further away from the woman than he puts the somewhat shorter ones. Then he's shucking his shoes, upending them and their water over the longer sticks, and focusing to start a formula that would work like a camp fire. ]

As he continues to make the campfire Raine glanced around at their surroundings. ]
... This place.

Know it?

[ And a time before then as well ]

... aware if there is more wood to be had, then? [ He can keep this fire going for a while, but....
Duke shifts back from it. ]
If you place your shoes upon the sticks, will dry faster.

[ She glances at the male and nods a little before taking her shoes off and putting them upon the sticks. ]

... These were the ruins that I had been searching for until not too long ago. But... you are correct.

Understandable.

... Still... if it weren't for what had happened here I wouldn't be who I am today. I suppose I should at least be a little grateful for that.
