[It's been a couple of weeks since Luke arrived. In all that time, he'd never quite relaxed. He still feels like there's something he has to do, a duty he hasn't fulfilled. And sitting here unable to do anything is making him more and more restless.

On top of that, he keeps having such awful nightmares. It wasn't like this before... before he even got thrown out of the manor in the first place. Then he had to kill people - to kill or be killed...

Akzeriuth just made it all ten times worse.

So, late at night, he lays on the couch with his head on the arm of it while staring out at the balcony, and Guy sleeping on the other end. Once he realizes staring isn't going to do anything, he quietly heads out to the balcony, where he just sits and looks out for a while.

After that, and realizing that he feels terrible from lack of sleep, he decides he really ought to do something about this. Though he hates typing on the SFC, he'd rather not potentially wake Guy up by talking, so he'll try it anyway, lazy typing and all.]

[Guy wasn't normally a light sleeper. Not that he slept like a rock or anything, but he rarely had evenings of disturbed rest. Not without sickness or obvious commotion to interrupt it, at least.

What exactly woke him tonight, he wasn't quite sure. But eventually, he found himself stirring, groggily opening his eyes to stare at the ceiling for a long moment, before raising his head to look at the other end of the couch.

...Oh. Luke wasn't there.

Guy's first thought, outside of momentary confusion, was that Luke had possibly wandered off to go use the actual bedroom. Both of them stubbornly stuck to the couch the first evening of Luke's arrival, and... it seemed to have become a trend. Guy was managing well enough, but he was surprised Luke had gone this long without complaining.

But Luke's location was obvious enough, even as Guy pushed himself to a sitting position. The balcony doors were wide open, revealing the redhead leaning against the railing, fatigue heavy on his shoulders as he fiddled with his communicator.

Hmm.

Quietly rising to his feet, Guy makes his way over to the balcony entrance, keeping his voice soft.]

You alright?

[He's busy typing to people, and even though his eyes are heavy with lack of sleep, he still can't help snorting or just smiling at points. But once he hears that voice, he jumps just slightly, shoulders frozen, before he looks over his shoulder to see Guy there.

Man, this is exactly what he wanted to avoid doing... He raises his shoulders in embarrassment, and he looks down at the railing while idly running his thumb over the keys.]

Yeah, sorry... Did I wake you up?
