*Selphie smiles into the SFC; apparently, she's set up somewhere in the plaza, and she's taken over one of the outdoor cafes. Huge piles of cupcakes sit over several tables - the girl's been busy!*

Hi Vatheon!~ My name's Selphie! I've been here before, I heard, but I went back home, and now I'm back again!

*With that she grins and holds up two fingers in a peace sign*

I've heard that I had friends here before, but I'm kinda sucking at remembering this week so... if you're a new friend, come say hi! If you're an old friend, well, I guess come say hi too! And in honour of making new friends, I've baked some cakes!

*She turns her SFC round in a 360 movement to show the heaps and heaps of cakes. They're beautifully decorated, but there's no promise for the taste. They should all at least be reasonably edible though. Selphie's face appears in the camera again and she smiles brightly*

Can't wait to meet you all, or even again!

*Yup, a little kindness can go a long way*

[ well this is quite a surprise. He's not sure what to say at first, so he's silent for a moment until he speaks. ]

*Selphie smiles brightly into her SFC*

Hi! You must be wanna my old friends, right? You wanna come get some cupcakes?

Indeed. [ no need to go into details... ] You and I once dwelt together.

[ cupcakes... ] Do you have chocolate cupcakes?

*She jolts a little in her chair and gasps*

You're the one I lived with? I want to remember you! I got loads of chocolate cakes! Come get some!

For over a year. I would be honored to share cake with you. Where are you located?

*For a moment she looks so sad, so sorry that she can't remember him. But in an instant she smiles and nods, tilting her head ~ this guy sounded so different to others* I got lots and lots! I'm at the plaza, by one of the cafes! *And gosh she looks so happy to be talking to someone who must be a close friend*

[ he smiles softly, There's a bit of lament in his eyes, but it's extremely subtle. ] I shall be over shortly.

*Selphie smiles back at him, missing anything so subtle. She's excited to meet an old friend. Selphie's standing among the tables covered with various cupcakes, and she's probably busy putting together a plate just of the chocolate ones when Kenshin gets there*

[ Kenshin heads over to the plaza with mixed feelings. He's very happy to see her but his heart is in a bit of a knot that she doesn't remember him. Perhaps for the better. Love is a distraction on the battlefield.

He arrives, offering a slight yet polite bow in greetings. ]

*Selphie smiles at him as she would with much any acquaintance. But she makes a point of lifting up the plate of chocolate cupcakes. She holds it up and looks at Kenshin carefully. She wants so hard to remember him but right then she can't remember his name.*

How about we do a trade? A cupcake for your name? And maybe some more for.. Well, we musta been pretty good friends if we lived together, so maybe another one for anything super important I should know?

*She grins and winks, because of course she would just give him the cupcakes anyway, since she's feeling so generous!*

Uesugi Kenshin.. *It sounded nice so she decided to speak it out loud, but the moment she does, her expression changes, and she looks a combination of frightened and confused*

*Selphie looks up at the man, wishing that she had some memory to hold on to, instead of just a feeling that she knew him, and trusted him. Still, she smiles, and picks the prettiest of the chocolate cupcakes to give to him*

You know, I'm sorry I don't remember - but things might come back to me!

[ he takes it with a polite, thankful bow. ]

I understand. Perhaps in time they will return, and if not, we shall make new memories instead.

*Selphie beams at the suggestion and takes a seat at the table, watching to see what Kenshin will make of the cake*

Vatheon's already starting to feel more familiar. What's something really important that I should try and remember about us?

[ there's so much to tell, surely enough to be very overwhelming. So he decides to start out simple. ]

We were quite close, close enough to be my right hand in battle.

And we had a cat named Moses.

*Wow, that was a good job, because even the information he gave was a lot*

*That excited her a lot, though she couldn't help but smile as she looked him over again, trying to imagine him in battle*

And a cat? You and me, we had a cat?

*That's so cute! She's never had a pet before*

[ Kenshin's ruthless in battle. He sent chills down most people's spines, but somehow not Selphie's. He idly wonders if that would still hold true even now. ]

*selphie, no doubt, would still very much enjoy such a battle. Still, at that moment her mind was too much on the cat*

He sounds cute! Do you think I could visit sometime? Would he remember me?

*course, she also silently wondered what had happened to her own space in that house*

*Selphie bites her lip, not sure how she feels. After all, she'd totally forgotten who he was, but she did hate living alone. Maybe a visit, first*
