[ There's a blinking line on the screen for the longest time. It's as if someone's trying to remain anonymous in what he's about to post, but as Ramirez really knows nothing about computers (let alone the SFC) in general, it would be pretty easy for tech-savvy characters to see who posted it. ]

Do pirates exist in other worlds?

[ It sounds relatively benign, but Ramirez has a specific reason for asking it. ]

The ghost ship is down by the the lower district. Just go Southwest. They are kind of cool to listen to at times. Where I'm from we had stories. So I think they existed in the past. If they still hang around in the present, then it's probably some where else. My town is pretty normal well normal for me. It'll probably be boring for other people.

There's a world called Neverland, where the pirate Captain Hook leads his men to try and defeat Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. Hook's a nasty guy, but the good thing is, his plans never succeed.

[ The legend of Peter Pan doesn't exist in his world; not even the non-Disnified version of it. ... But now he's not sure what's worse, pirates, or someone who refuses to 'grow up.' Little does he know that Mickey actually meant that literally and not figuratively. ]

Why doesn't this 'Peter Pan' want to grow up?

If you have both thievery and a way to sail the ocean, I'm pretty sure there's bound to be pirates somewhere along the line.

And what about the sky?

I guess it depends on what technology a civilization has access to, as far as air travel goes. It's not anything I've encountered.

Sure. Though it tends to change with the times. In my world pirates on the sea are a relic from antiquity, but space pirates are another concern.

[ Being a Silvite, and having spent the first half of his life on the very outer limits of the atmosphere, he's at least familiar with the concept of space; but even Silvite technology can't actually go into space. ]
