LV 1 Healer LFT!
So, city, a new curse and everything is... unique. Everyone seems to have been granted some sort of role and we are to perform these... quests? It is all like some sort of game. It might almost be fun if I was not cloaked in these accursed robes; I keep tangling myself in them.
[The camera pans to show what exactly she was talking about.]
Is anyone in need of some sort of magic-based healer? I seem to have a much better understanding of the Light as part of this, I think.

[It was also a bit of a reminder what she would be like if the whole rebellion had not gone so wrong back on Alternia.]

[He has a similarly styled but less draping outfit of his own. He's also sparkling here and there, not enough to be part of the outfit.]
The roles are different classes we're assigned to, each with their own abilities and powers. If you team up, you can combine your strengths and get things accomplished better instead of wandering around on your own. Obviously, your job is to heal people while keeping back from danger yourself. Unless you level enough--the woman for the cleric quest implied we get offensive abilities down the line.
Speaking of which, those quests will help you advance. The usual kind involves hunting down monsters and beating the shit out of them, but if you go find the quest board in the Plaza, you'll find some more menial ones too that are easier to complete if you're not battle-oriented. That's the reason I look like Gamzee sneezed special stardust on me: I had to go clean glitter out of some douchebag's hive because like all game NPCs, his head was lodged too far up his nook for him to do anything for himself. But it means I advance a little further, and it's something I can do without hunting down a group to keep me from getting turned into paste.

I see you got lucky with your own designated 'costume'. I would love to have something like yours, you know, with freedom of movement.
So I heal and support others? I can deal with that, especially now that I feel so weak. This 'class' does not seem to get the muscles I honed from my hunting. I will just have to find some others who are in need of my new abilities... so I can hide behind them. [She laughs.]
I will have to look into these quests then, maybe some of the easier ones to begin. I... did not want to comment on the sparkling, but that explains it. [Another light laugh.]
Thank you, You have been very informative, as per usual.

[Better than a long robe, or worse options he has yet to discover, but that's beside his point.]
Yes, that's the idea. As undignified as hiding behind someone stronger might sound, it will keep you alive longer. You keep your tank alive - the person who takes the damage - and you keep yourself alive by proxy. And the other members of your party, if it's more than the two of you. But don't go healing every little scratch, got it? You only have so much energy to devote to spells, and if you run out, you're screwed until you can rest and recover it. Whiners who demand extra heals anyway can be given a formal invitation to suck it.
But hey, sharing the info is better than letting you stumble around blindly through the week, so it's no big deal.

I have no shame in hiding behind someone if that is what I am meant to do. I will have to find out what classes the others are, and only heal them when they need it. Maybe not heal certain trolls if they come up to me, hurt. [Dualscar.]
In that way, us healers have a lot of power, actually. I mean without us they will stumble and fall in the harder battles. It is nice to know that you will be important, at least.

It's not his former matesprit, but Kurloz is still pretty cheered up to see her. He smiles and waves- he could totally go for doing a quest with her.]

[He seems so familiar, somehow. Almost like Gamzee in a way. Then she recalls the conversation with Mituna, and the alternate universe versions of trolls, and the confustion stemming from said conversation.]
Then, Hello, I am known as the Disciple. Who are you?

Then, he decides to give something a try- he signs out his name, in the communication he and Meulin use between the two of them. It's a long shot that she'll understand it, but he might as well try.]

I apologize, I did not know. I also do not understand your hand-signing. Would you prefer if we talk in text?
Aagh, I didn't mean to lose this tag.
He shrugs, and switches to text himself.]
