This probably isn't important to anyone but me, but- as of today I've been here a whole year.

[He pauses. Sora could probably do this without feeling embarrassed or anything, but Roxas fidgets. Maybe this is silly.]

I... kind of wanted to thank everybody, for giving me the chance to do stuff I never got to back home.

I dunno about "already"... It does feel like I've been here a while.

Yes, it does feel like it's been a while too...I can't believe it's almost 10 months for me...

I guess we've sort of been in it together, then.

I can still remember the first event when I arrived here! Do you remember the fishy Olympics? I think that was the first time I got an understanding of what this place was like...

[And they still didn't win anything!]

It sounds familiar, but- there was kind of a lot going on back then.

What happened during that time?

I'm afraid I don't really remember outside of that event.

[Goodness, was her memory that bad?]

Well, that was- June? July?

...I was dealing with some- people who don't exactly like me.

Oh right...I remember him...

[Pause]

I never did get a chance to talk to him did I? I know he's still around but...

He's been- sort of behaving lately. For him.

[shirleyhopeful]

What do you mean?

I know that he's someone that kills a lot of people but I haven't a lot out of him lately...

[Pause] I wonder if he's planning something.

[coolerthansora]

I mean he hasn't really- been picking fights and stuff. We sparred the other day, but that's different.

I don't know if he's the type to plan.

[shirleyhopeful]

[Now she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.]

But this was also the person who went out and killed two other people. I wonder what made him change his mind and be this...peaceful?

[Roxas has a few guesses, but he just shrugs.]

I doubt he'd be interested in explaining.

I guess Vatheon just has something that is able to calm people down some. [Now if Walter was able to do the same]

I wonder how they're able to do something like that!

Maybe all it is is being here.

I mean, for most of us, the stuff we were fighting for or against- doesn't exist here.

Yeah, some of the things back home don't exist here so...it does seem like we go get a chance to live in peace.

[Pause]

It's kind of nice...I didn't really get a chance to be like this until 10 months ago. I wish back home would be like this...

I hope I get to stay a lot longer.

...Would it be selfish of me to say that I want to?

It's not that I don't enjoy it here, it's just that there's something I have to do back home.

[She can't go away for two seconds without someone fighting!]

Why would it be selfish? A lot of people have important stuff to get back to.

Well...I just don't want to leave behind the friends I made here too. There's a lot of people I met here and they mean a lot of me.

I wonder if anyone has found a way to see if we can visit them once in a while.

[The last thing she wants is for her friends to get caught up in the Orerines and the Ferines issue right now]
