03 - the morning after we talked all night of dreams, we stepped lightly - [Video]

[All that's shown on the feed at first is Tatara's face; there's a dark smudge followed by へーき、へーき (It's fine, it's fine) on his forehead, and he looks rather worried. There's also a monocle, mustache, and various tired lines painted onto his face.

But that's not the important part. There's a moment of rustling, then the SFC falls into his lap, showing that someone (Anna) has tied his coat into a bow, trapping his arms at his side.]

Can someone come untie me? I woke up like this.

[It looks like he's back in HOMRA now, though he has no idea when he got here.]

Has anything important happened?

[No one's left, right? ...King, Kusanagi-san, please don't hit him on the head for sleeping so much.]

[Wallace could not help notice the boy's face. What had happened to him? It looked like someone had....drawn all over his face with a marker pen.]

Are you...alright?

[A little girl did! He smiles.]

I'm fine, really. I just want to be able to use my arms.

[He has no idea what his face looks like right now.]

Use your arms? [He frowned. What did the boy mean?] Has something happened to you?

[He blinks and moves a little, trying to make sure the bow is visible.]

Someone tied my coat into a bow around me. I can't move my arms.

[He barely managed to get the SFC on in the first place.]

How unfortunate. Why would someone do that to you? [He was concerned. How could Wallace assist the poor guy?]

[He laughs.]

My friends probably got annoyed that I was sleeping so long. What day is today?

[Right, telling the guy where he is might help...]

I'm pretty sure I'm in Bar HOMRA right now, if you want to help.

[ He's not gonna hit you for this, Tatara. Truth be told, he only woke up a few weeks before you so that's fun, right? But he sees the scribbles. Yep, that happened too. ]

[Well that's a relief. He blinks, looking over at him.]

King? Did someone tie you up too?

[He doesn't exactly have a mirror...Please untie his coat.]

[ He's not going to untie you just yet. Instead, he's going to turn around and leave.

Only to come back a few minutes later carrying a hand mirror which he holds up for Tatara.

Surprise. ]

[Really, King? He looks into the mirror, trying to figure out why this is more important than untying him for all of a second. Then he just stares.]

Ehhh? [There's a brief pause, then he laughs.]

Did Anna get annoyed with me for sleeping?

[King and Kusanagi-san wouldn't, and he doesn't think they'd let anyone else draw on him.]

[ If anything, his body got shifted around and moved and carried and transported. They took good care of him. ]

Guess she got bored.

[ Yeah, he woke up like that too. But here. Let's get you free because really he hasn't eaten anything really amazing for the past few weeks. ]

Better?

Guess so.

[He'd wonder what had happened if they'd left him out in the street somewhere. Though, if they did, it'd probably be because of some curse, or they left.

He rubs his neck once his arms are free.]

Yep! Thanks, King.

[He just woke up and got his arms free, and he already wants him to cook for him? Gosh King.]

[ He can live without food for a bit. Not that hungry yet anyway. There's just a small nod of recognition as a "you're welcome" though. ]

Izumo's sleeping too. Passed out when he saw the bar.

[ Stuffing his hands now in his pockets as he stepped back to give Tatara room to move. Sure must hurt being stuck in one position forever. ]

You missed the flood.

[One less thing to deal with right away then! Which is nice. He'll probably be hungry after a little while; sleeping for a month or so might do that to a person.

He blinks.]

Kusanagi-san passed out because of water damage?

[Considering what he'd done when Yata chipped the floor or the bar...he can see that. He stretches, getting up and looking around the bar.]

It doesn't really look different though.

[There are signs, but nothing really huge. Or he's still sleepy and isn't seeing things right.]

... Tatara-san... ?

Isana? Is something wrong?

[If everything is fine, please help.]

Y-your face...

[He blinks again, twisting in vain to find something to look into. After a moment, he gives up.]

Did someone write on it?

Yes, quite a lot.

Probably Anna....

[He laughs a little, shifting as much as he can in the bow of sleeves.]

She probably tied me up too.

I don't understand why should would tie you up, but I'm somehow not surprised.

Would you like some help?

Yes, please. This isn't very comfortable.

[He likes being able to use his arms, thanks.]

[Well, look who just so happens to be staying with them now?

Shiro emerges not a few seconds later, and goes to help Tatara with that jacket problem.]

It certainly is a pretty bow, but that does complicate the use of your arms...

Anna likes making things prettier sometimes.

[He just smiles. It's better than being alone, staying with them.]

So Anna, King, and Kusanagi-san convinced you it was okay? To stay with us.

[Or, well, at HOMRA. He doesn't actually stay here; only Anna and King do that.

Yes, good. His arms are stiff now, but that'll pass in a little while.]

Ah--... yes... well. I think they were concerned about my well being, now that Kuroh is gone...

I'm going to keep my house, just in case, but for now it would be better for me not to be alone.
