[ He wipes his face off with a towel. ]

I take a nap for one hour and then I wake up soaking wet and in front of the Coral!? [ Clearly, Occam's Razor says someone did this as a prank, and he didn't just disappear and come back without remembering it. ]

Not the type of broadcast Yukari usually responds to, but she recognizes some of the names he lists off. She sounds pretty nonchalant about it all when she speaks up.]

Who knows. [ Mithos scoffs, and looks away from the screen. ] Or are you going to tell me I disappeared, too?

I have no idea what happened. But it sure looks that way.

[He should be thankful he at least has his memories in tact.]

That's ridiculous. Why wouldn't I remember that?

A lot of people don't . . . would it really be that surprising?

Yes. Because I should remember going home. I still remember... what happened the day before I woke up here.

That is not what she was expecting. There's a weak "Oh" sound that escapes her lips, somewhere between surprise and pity, but she shakes it off quickly.]

So that's why you think someone was responsible for this.

[She probably should've phrased that as a question, but . . .]

Everyone keeps telling me I disappeared. As if any of them would notice if I really did.

Sometimes people do take others for granted -- but I'm guessing that's not what you meant when you said you were betrayed.

... my two closest allies. The people who were supposed to rule Cruxis with me, and help me bring my sister back.

[For a moment there's just an awkward pause, because she has no idea what any of that means. But "bring my sister back" resonates with her well enough.

There are plenty of people she's wanted -- and still wants to bring back, at times.]

They must've had a reason for changing their minds like that.

They were never loyal to me in the first place.

[tsundyne]

[Juuust a pause to let that sink in. Were . . .]
