[And with a squawk the chocobo drops the SFC, sending it cartwheeling until it points at the origins of that shadow, a messier-than-usual kitty troll perched on a clown troll's shoulders, various hues of paint staining her hands and clothes and even her cheeks, still dripping a bright red from an outstretched paintbrush that had been adding the finishing touches to a heart high up on:]

[She attempts to leap at the wall to block it from view; this doesn't go well when instead it just makes both trolls topple over in a tangle of limbs.]

The hearts are fur matesprits of course! For humans that's like...boyfurrends and girlfurrends?? Matesprits pity each other furry furry much, it's my second favourite quadrant!

Fur trolls it's pity! Pitying someone so hard that you just need to be there fur them. And being okay with them knowing all your weaknesses and trusting them not to use them against you. It's compurrlickated!

Heh. I get it. I guess it is kind of like that.

Those are fur blackrom quadrants! I don't think humans really have anything like them so sometimes it's difficult to expurrlain them... Hmmm, let me see. You know when you're rivals with someone, like really really badly rivals?

Well, fur trolls, being in hate with someone like that is a romantic thing! Having an arch-rival you loathe and keep on fighting to be better than and to make hate you more. That's kismesissitude, the one that the spade sign is fur!

...What if you just want them to die a horrible, agonizing death?

[He doesn't actually/i> want Kratos to die, but that has more to do with upsetting Lloyd than any secret fuzzy feelings for that asshole.]

Then it's platonic hatred! That happens too! But with trolls it often turns romantic, and that's what the last quadrant is fur. An auspistice who mediates fur a kismesis couple and stops them cheating on each other or else taking things too fur and killing each other.

Funny, that might all be Troll stuff but I think it's really similar for Humans, even if we don't consider hatred romantic in any way.

Uh huh, I've heard that sometimes it's similar! But for a lot of trolls it's a really important romantic thing.
