What did I miss aside from N and Mewtwo arriving while I was playing Sleeping Beauty?

[Someone's normal scowl is a stronger this time, though given what he woke up to on the contact list? Just made his day go south.] Next thing I know this place will bring more vermin back in.

Serph, Cielo. I was sleep-coma'd again. 'S why I wasn't around to look after my tree.

[Oh Serph, you really should meet his pokemon, though yea, Silver isn't that much of a fighter. His pokemon do that for him. Actually, you might get a chance seeing as there is a Sneasel following him. By this time, Silver has heard of the murders and he's not exactly happy or comfortable with the whole thing. But it's neither hear nor there.]

Oi. [Have a short wave when he's close enough.]

[Serph finishes making one last final snip before turning to face Silver, nodding in greeting. He spots the strange creature and tilts his head.]

Is that a cat?

[It sort of looks like the one from the Junkyard.]

Huh. No. It's a sneasel. [A beat then -] One of my pokemon.

[That just gets a tilt of his head. He glances back down at the sneasel before turning to walk in the direction of where Silver's peach seed was planted.]

What is a pokemon?

[Follows.] An animal from my world, primary use is fighting, though some morons keep them as pets.

[A pet? Serph feels like he should know what that is, but can't quite recall what one is. A question for another time; here's the hole with the peach seed. The watering can near it is half filled, more than enough for this round of watering.]

Are your other pokemon here in Vatheon?

[He hadn't seen Silver's 'sneasel' with him before, so it's possible the others are also around.]

[Silver just grabs the can and starts to water the seed, taking care not to drown the seed.] Yea.

[And he'll just lift up his jacket to show six pingpong sized pokeballs - not all of them red and white, actually - clipped to his belt.] A trainer is never without their pokemon. I train them in the forest most days.

[Serph can't comprehend the significance of the strange balls Silver is showing him. They're obviously significant in some way, but at least he understands the implication that Silver is a trainer.]

May I see your other pokemon?

]A nod - and Silver let's the pokemon out. All but the Eevee are content to just flop.

The Eevee on the other hand? Serph hey Serph, it likes you and Silver is twitching with the effort of not yelling at it or his Haunter that follows over to investigate.

Welcome to being one of the few people that get to witness Silver trying to be ~~less abusive~~nice to his pokemon.] ...It's still young. It'll learn.

[Twitch.]

[Unfortunately for the Eevee, Serph isn't the sort to pet animals unless explicitly told to. He doesn't understand what Silver's statement means, so he pushes it aside while he looks at all of Silver's pokemon. He sounds a little bewildered when he speaks.]

These are all considered animals?

[Even the metal thing? Serph's looking at the Magneton.]

Yea. Shae. Heel. [With a whine, the Eevee returns to it's master's side. Magneton does look the meanest, even if it's just chilling out right now.] Everyone of them is an animal. Smarter than the ones that most here are familiar with, though.

[And they all fit into balls. Right. Sounds legit.]

And you are teaching them how to fight?

It is what they are used for in my world. [Recalls all but the Sneasel.

Hey, look, he's also trying to keep the Idiot out of his tone. It's... sort of working?

At least he's trying anyway.]

[D'awww. Serph appreciates the effort.

He watches the pokemon return to their balls -- it's rather fascinating to observe -- before returning his attention back to Silver. Are you done watering?]

I'm interested in testing their combat skills. Yours, also.

[Because if Silver can train 'pokemon' that means he can fight too, right?]

[Yep, he is.

- Blink then eyebrow quirk. His skills as well? His eyes flick to were his sword should be and scowl. Of all the times to leave mone without it..] I have another five. Pick one and I'll have them fight each other.

]..It's not that big a deal to him to make teammates fight each other.]

[Serph shakes his head. He has no wish to see the pokemon fight each other.]

I will be the large one's opponent.

[By that, he means the feraligatr.

But he's setting off towards the forest, expecting Silver and his sneasel to follow; let's not have a fight right next to the plants, okay?]

[hfdhjkj RUNNING TO CATCH UP AND GRAB A SHOULDER. JFC Serph. You don't just say things like that.] Are you fucking insane? One bite and you could lose a limb - or die and then the pokemon's blooded....

[And having a blooded pokemon on his team? DNFW OK.]

[Serph pauses for Silver, and tilts his head. Blooded? But awww look at that, Silver's looking out for him. Not that Serph thinks he needs it.]

I won't be fighting your pokemon as a human. That one seems most able to withstand the strength of a demon.

[Gotten the taste of human blood. Feraligatr is a carnivore more than not.]

[??]

...Demon? [Say what Serph? You have lost Silver completely now.]

[Silver seems so confused. He'll clarify.]

I'm part demon.

[.....

Silver is just going to nod. He's seen stranger things than part demons in the bubble. But given that this place can pull in robots and furballs ect? not much a stretch to accept a part demon.

Even if he is just. '...wtf Serph' internally.] Fine.

Long as you know what you're doing. We'll start when you are ready.

[Serph nods and returns to leading the way into the forest. When they've travelled a satisfactory distance, Serph stops and turns to face Silver, raising his left hand to his cheek.

His tattoo glows blue, and similarly glowing lines begin to spread from it. Shining lights surround Serph, and within seconds, a demon stands ready. Serph keeps his blades hidden within his arms, and while he's about a foot taller in this form, he's still about a foot shorter than Silver's Feraligatr.

He's ready, but he won't be the one to make the first move.]

[Silver simply unhooks the pokeball then hits the bottom to send the pokemon out. He's not as bothered by this as he should be, given that Serph now looks at bit like a pokemon, An odd looking one, but still like a pokemon anyway.

His eyes flicker over Serph's form, mind shifting to battle tactics now then he nods, smirking. A click of fingers --

And the pokemon is lunging, fangs coated with ice - an Ice Fang.]

[Wow, way to compare him to an animal!! Then again, Feraligatr looks like a demon to Serph, so it's only fair, really.

Serph lacks eyes in this form, so he doesn't 'see' the lunge in the same way he would as a human. He hears the fingersnap, and senses the pokemon's subsequent attack and the ice -- some form of magic? -- that coats those teeth. He's not worried about the ice, but he's not about to try and take the bite when Silver had said he'd likely lose a limb. And even if he struck now -- the pokemon's throat is less armoured than his arms -- the momentum of the creature's incredible bulk would probably knock him over.

Serph dodges around to the pokemon's right, fast and efficient in his movements, clawed feet tearing up the ground. This is a test, so he isn't going to attack until he sees just a little more of what this animal can do.]
