Recently, my friend--who has always been my best friend and always will be, no matter what happens--stopped speaking. He's normally not the chattiest of souls, but this refusing to speak at all thing is new.

[He moves the camera a little, showing the Psiioniic, who is just floating there and looking preoccupied. When he realizes that the camera has been turned on him, his expression turns faintly agitated. A small swarm of bees buzz around him, with the occasional brave one landing on his body for a moment before flying happily away.]

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Do you know what they called me in my time, Tavros? They called me a mutant, an abomination, something not fit to live. If I'd believed them, I would have turned myself over to be culled at a young age, but I didn't... I refused to believe that I was worthless, just because I didn't fit in or had a different way of doing things. And if you're broken, then that makes me broken too, and I don't believe that. Even if we were, we could be broken together.

Why, why, why wasn't I born during the same time as this child? It's not fair...

Do you know what a hero is, little bull? A hero isn't someone who is exceptionally brave, or very strong, or completely unflawed. A hero is just someone who is brave and strong for five minutes longer than everyone else.

It's funny, isn't it, how the definition of a great deed is dependent on the person describing the deed in question? Personally, I would say that being a good and loyal friend is a great deed, and it seems as though you do that very well.
