Pop quiz, Vat! Who has two thumbs and finally got off his butt and finished something major? This guy! It took me 'bout two months to get everything all finalized and junk with the locals but I got my own little shop right smack against the barrier so you can see all the fish! S'taking the place of that old music shop that used to be here 'til it got wrecked when the kraken attacked so I'm just really pickin' the slack up with a little Demyx-twist.

_{[He pauses for effect, then laughs a little.]}

'sides from teaching you guys how to play music or even just leasing the stuff out, I can teach a little bit of magic on the sides. Course it's within moderation cuz I'm still pretty knew at the whole teaching scene, bu~t! Everyone's gotta start somewhere, yeah? Just look for Nocturne No. 9 over in the middle district. I rigged the place up to have a big ol' aquarium that goes through the floor 'n into a bigger one along the back wall so if you got any doubts 'bout it being the right place just keep that in mind, kay? So tell me about musical instruments. Which would you recommend for a total beginner?

Well, y'can't go wrong with just a regular ol' acoustic! They don't really need all the cords or amps like the electrics so it's easier to haul 'em around in my experience.

[Signless looks over the sprawl of instruments.]

Which ones are the acoustics?

[Total beginner.]

_{[Yep, that's all he says as he grabs Signless by the arm and leads him over to the acoustics.]}

[Oh, okay, these kinds. Signless lets Demyx lead him around, and he examines the instruments that are apparently acoustic.]

Now, these are guitars, right?

Yep! The good ol' classics! I made one for Lea 'round Christmas, actually.

[Signless looks them over a minute longer, then chooses one off the rack.]

Okay... how do I hold it?

[Probably not like that, Signless. However you're holding it is wrong.]

Eurk--! N-Not like that, dude! Not like that--!

_{[Personal space? Nope nope, because Demyx is sliding right up behind Signless to turn the guitar around and show him how to hold it right. Gosh, bro! Treat it like a lady!]}

[As a champion invader of personal space himself, it doesn't bother Signless in the least to have Demyx put his arms around him like that. He pays attention, taking note on how to hold the instrument.]

All right... how do I make it play music?

As obvious as your horns, Signless.

_{[He hums as he helps to rearrange the troll's hands on the instrument.]}

Well, y'gotta have your hands in the right spots. You can't really pick up something like this and just strum the begeezus outta it or it'll come back to bite you with a broken string or something like that. I always treat my girls--ah, the sitars I got like they're a lover as lame as it sounds. I treat 'em nice and they'll give me the best performance they can 'n I couldn't ask anything more. _{[Pausing to untangle himself from Signless, he takes a seat on the floor and pats the spot across from him before he summons Arpeggio to his hands, offering a small grin.]} This might be a sitar but you can play her one like a regular guitar so I'll teach you with this, kay?

[Signless listens closely, and adjusts his hands on the instrument. His touch is suddenly much lighter, much gentler, and if Demyx comes away with the impression that the Disciple is a lucky troll... well, let's just say that she is.]

Well, first off you gotta learn some of the basics. Just kinda try to copy how I move, alright?
